Works for me!

trailwalker66

This app works perfectly fine with my new Nikon D5600 camera. I have it set on auto upload and the photos upload from camera to iPhone (which I paired it to initially via Bluetooth) as soon as the two are in close proximity. The photo transfers do use a fair amount of camera battery charge, but it's so convenient-I just keep a spare battery fully charged. Not sure why my experience is better than others have had. From the negative reviews, I was not expecting much, but so far so good.

Nikon snapbridge app

Smh Don N.

Pretty much a useless app and doesn’t work right or connect all the time, I select the pics I want to transfer and it starts uploading all of the pics I have on my camera which would take a week to upload @ Bluetooth speeds, it’s too slow and a waste of time, since my D3400 camera only has Bluetooth for transferring pics to my iPhone. I simply bought a lightning to SD cable adapter for my iPhone, problem solved!!! Much easier and faster uploading to my phone. Buy a otg phone cable and dump this useless app.

I love it

It was perfect for my trip light weight and the blue tooth remote is cool to

Shameful waste of bits

This app does nothing. Nada. Zilch. Nikon’s web site offers numerous excuses for its dysfunctional state and provides several “work arounds” (updating firmware, turning things on and off, dancing around the campfire, etc...) in case you like getting even more frustrated, but this app simply doesn’t do anything, no matter what you do. Indeed, even the Bluetooth setting on the camera (in my case, the D7500) has bugs (the setting that turns off the instruction screen doesn’t actually turn off the instruction screen). It’s a great opportunity to practice accepting what you cannot change. Use your Nikon as you did before Bluetooth existed, and never think about it again. Wait. Now that I’m unfortunately thinking about it more, actually, I’m wrong; this app does do something. It drains both your camera’s and your iPhone’s batteries as they search in vain for each other, never ever getting together. So be sure to turn Bluetooth off on both devices, or soon you’ll be using neither. Or better, trash this app.

Complete wast of time

The app worked great for about 3 days and then decided to stop working. I’ve tried everything to reconnect the camera but the pictures won’t download. I spent 2 ours with Nikon support nd they didn’t help at all. So my suggestion is to buy a Canon or to manually transfer the photos on to your device.

Do not get Nikon cameras

This app does not work. I’ve been trying to connect my iPhone to my camera for the past 3 hours. I regret buying this camera so bad.

This app makes it super easy to post to social media or share in a text by sending pics straight to your phone.

Terrible

I’ve never been more frustrated while using an app. Sometimes the Bluetooth connection works perfectly, sometimes doesn’t work at all. The app is so inconsistent. No matter how many times I pair and unpair my camera with the app, the Bluetooth will still not connect. For how expensive and professional Nikon is, I expected way more from them.

Doesn’t work with D850

Acosta3211

I have the D850 and I can barely get it to connect. I cannot view photos from within the app or transfer RAW photos to my iPhone or iPad. Horrible app, almost ready to delete! When I had my D750 the WMU app worked a whole lot better for remote, viewing photos and transferring photos. Too bad that app doesn’t work with the D850. Save your time and don’t bother downloading this app. Invest in a XQD reader like I did and save the frustration. Just wish I could transfer photos on the fly if I needed to. This app does not even deserve 1 star.

works intermittently. seriously??

Nikon is obviously an advanced company, so why would they not fix an app like this? It’s a gamble every time I try to connect this app to my d5600. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is that this app will not simply connect this app to my camera, and that Nikon is doing nothing to fix the problem. fix this.
