App totally blank when you try to load it up. And I have a message. Yikes, how do I check it?

Always crashing, lengthy load times, inconsistent and unreliable across the board. Really disappointed in Godaddy.

Great App. Nobody knowing my personal number anymore! Great value for small business.

I’ve only been using this app for a couple of weeks, but so far so good. In fact, real good. Otherwise I wouldn’t be taking the time to offer the following. A feature I would like to have is the ability to choose from more than one auto-attendant message. Right now, as best I can tell, the only choice is “all of our REPRESENTATIVES are unavailable.“ It would be more useful to the service industry if, for example, there was an option to choose “all of our staff” or even “we are currently assisting other clients and therefore unable to take your call ... .”

I have lost money using this app. Unable to receive calls and texts, the screen will go blank. When I first set up SmartLine it worked fine. a couple months went by, customers were complaining to me how they weren’t able to get through. I used my other business phone and they were right. I made calls to my SmartLine during my business hours, nothing. Now the calls show up and the screen becomes blank, the worst!!!!

I needed a Chicago area code for my business, I live in the burbs, also needed another number other than wasn't tied to my personal number for communicating with applicants and staff. I haven't had any problems at all, making or receiving calls, my cell rings with a special ring tone so I know its work related, I have an iPhone 7 plus if that matters.

It works well enough. It does have a leg up on most of the “second number” apps out there because it uses the underlying phone carrier, and is not VoIP. Let’s face it, even today, VoIP over mobile data is still pretty bad, and if you’re trying to not sound like a cheapskate to your customers, that matters. That said, it’s basically a clone of the Sideline app which has been around for years, and does not have any killer features to recommend it over its more mature competition. Maybe competition will drive both to accelerate feature development. I hope the developer realizes that they’re also in competition with carriers offering multiple numbers per device now. Calls, texts, and voicemail are not features—they’re the price of admission. That doesn’t leave this app with an advantage at present.

I almost feel like I’ve been scammed out of my phone number. I downloaded the app, temporarily deleted it and downloaded again now I can’t get into the app. Says I’m blocked like they’re mad that I deleted it. I’ve sat on the phone with tech support who have no answers. They’ve sent me at least 7 password resets and none of them work. Skip this app.

I’m in real estate and moved to a new area. I wanted to change my number to a local number but wanted to keep my previous number since it’s what any past clients would use to contact me. This seemed easier and more affordable than adding another phone to my account but it was a mistake. They say you can keep your go daddy number if you ever choose to switch providers and make it seem easy but it’s been a difficult process and it still isn’t ported over. I now have this number attached to all of my marketing so I need it working. The app was unreliable and I would pull it up at times to find it wasn’t even working at all until I re-connected it. Who knows if anyone tried to call during that time. You can’t text more than one person at once. There have been instances where someone would try to “share a contact” with me and it shows up as blank. Just a couple examples of how it can be inconvenient and incompatible with other phones/providers. Not to mention the unreliable part. It doesn’t always show who is actually calling it may just say call from SmartLine rather than the number or contact.
