App doesn’t work

MegBuildsCredit

I am not happy with the service at all. At first it worked fine but then all of a sudden I was unable to get it to connect. It would just have a black screen. Then I noticed that missed calls would pop up without the phone even ringing. When I would try and access the missed call the number would just disappear. I’ve read through the previous reviews and they are all spot on. I have great service but the app just will not connect correctly. I’ve lost money in my business because of it.

Not efficient for business

janny___

The app allows you to create a voicemail for the second number. But calls would forward and my personal voicemail will answer! The app itself is not user-friendly and makes it very hard to track callers and reply to text messages. Lots of glitches and work needed to be done!

No refund on faulty product- voicemail broken

voicemail_

Voicemail goes to your personal message instead of the second line of you decline the call. No refund after 48 hrs.

Not ready for prime time

Clients are trying to text me, all return texts by me fail to send. And nothing you can do about it - no function to resend. This was designed by high school kids.

Not business ready

Pensacola DL

App is good for a general 2nd line like google voice which is free and actually more reliable. I purchased SmartLine under the assumption of the sales guy knew what he was talking about. Now I have 10years of service with SmartLine in hopes they drastically improve things if marketing as a second business line. 1. It’s needs to be voip based as well as the current cellular as even cell phones (my iPhone 7) use Wi-Fi calling in weak areas of house or places yet SmartLine will send caller to voicemail hence I am unable to use my cell Wi-Fi calling if I desire SmartLine to work. 2. Called ID needs to show who is calling as well as clients have told me a different # than my business # sometimes shows up on their caller ID which is not good and shows app is unstable. 3. Voicemail needs MORE OPTIONS! PERIOD! I can’t even forward calls to house/business and a smartphone only answer is bad for business as if on a job, calls may need to be routed to someone else and not client get voicemail during business hours or if they get voicemail then give them the option to choose to leave message or press another # to reach another tech. Godaddy can take a lot of hints from youmail which i use for my cell voicemail. A better custom greeting , options for client to choose from if emergency (in my business at least), general maintenance, choose to forward to operator (office) , etc. unfortunately Godaddy does not allow me to even forward to my youmail account and utilize these features. 4. Overall Godaddy needs to take a deep look at other 2nd line business lines and features if they intend to charge and market SmartLine as a business line. 5. General- improve call quality, improve voicemail, improve features I mentioned above as well as others have mentioned in their reviews as apparently I’m not the only business owner who has same/similar issues. So far I’ve actually switched to google voice for my business which is free, has same and more features than paid SmartLine. I’ve always had great experience with Godaddy products but this is the worst and I hope the developers listen to and read these ratings. Otherwise I’ll have bought 10years of a premium service which I use 1/4 of time just to call an understanding established client back and see if SmartLine has improved rather than use with new clients and completely forward/change/port my main business line to SmartLine. Occasional forward main business # (free google voice #) to SmartLine and use as testing to see if it’s improved. So far after 5-6 months of use, still same. If this continues, I’ll simply scrap this app and consider the product cost a loss of doing business. Godaddy developers PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen to the public ratings as we have all purchased the product in hopes of business use.

App looks nice. Support for problems? Pure Hell!

Don’t waste your money. Others do this for less cost and with far less aggravation. The App looks like it has some nice features. But you can’t activate your account from the app you must do so from a laptop. Worse their tech support on this is A JOKE. You talk to a sales person who might know web site domains but know very little about the app, how it works, and has to talk to an “expert” teamWhoHe will never let you talk to directly. It only took them 6 weeks and untold hours on the phone. Every promise until today was either total Bull or a lie. Worse when they discover a problem on the way to a solution, they will not reach out to you. You must chase them. Given a choice between my experience with this or open chest surgery with no pain meds, I would take the surgery. When I canMove this line to a competitor I will. Right now I have years of free credit, owed me.

Attempted Delete

(1) I went to delete the App and when you hold the icon to delete it doesn’t give you the option. (2) there are cheaper options out there (3) I went to cancel the charge and Go Daddy said Itunes does not bill for item which is not true

We use smart line and are happy with it! Only thing we wish it did was allow group texting.

Close to being perfect. But no cigar.

Does everything you think you should do. Except for adding pictures to a text message. I could not figure that one out and have not yet still. Also adding multiple people to a chat. Still doesn’t seem way to do that. Also there is definitely a much larger lag time probably due to the app running on top of the phone. Otherwise I like it and will continue to use. Look forward to their upgrades.

Good but clunky....

Sweep minor

I’m real happy to have a second number that rings to my existing number.... BUT the software is clunky and seems to simply “glitch” out sometimes. No ryme or reason. Either delayed rings, no rings, delayed messages, no messages, then a dump of them all at one time. Also, that awkward 1/2 second delay that old analogue phones used to have on long distance calls. Keep upgrading and I’m sure thes issues will disappear soon enough.
