I love this app I’ve always loved birds and they all sound so beautiful I just wish there were more thing that were free in this app and I wish it could help you identify feathers cause I collect a tone of bird feathers that I find. But other that that I love this app so thank you.

No matter what I take a picture of or record, I am returned a very high percentage chance that it’s a mallard, or a pigeon. While it makes good fodder for humorous cocktail party conversation, it’s much less helpful for actually identifying the birds we see and hear. I will be cancelling my subscription and finding a new app.

I’m pretty new to identifying birds so I tried a few apps to see if any could be helpful. This app was very easy to use.It can identify birds either by photo ( you take one or you select one from your collection ) or by sound. I tried it on a couple of birds I knew and it got them right. I emailed the developer and he responded within a few hours. Can’t ask for more!

Love this app, our backyard is filled with different birds so it’s been so fun for my family and I to begin to identify all the different species.

I’ve been hiking most my life, but after putting a bird feeder in my yard, I started noticing birds with more interest. Once I started identifying them with the help of smart bird ID I started looking for them. I used the song identifier, and now it’s exciting to hike and hear and see birds in a deeper and enjoyable way!?

I’m a usual skeptic when finding new apps, but this app was an unexpected pleasure! It helps to identify and find out details of the bird population in my yard! Love, love, love it! Please continue to improve the app and keep it up to date! Thanks Michael! Ps, sandy watching the beautiful tree swallows!

Okay, so I’m a big “wanna know” type of person. Whatever it is, I wanna know. And so is my 6 year old son. “What’s that bug?” Pull out Seek by iNaturalist. “What’s that song?” Pull out Shazam. “What’s that bird?” Pull out this app right here. Doesn’t matter if we can only hear it - you know why? Yup, it’ll identify that bird by sounds only! Then it links you to all the other “wanna know” stuff - distribution, habitat, diet, all that jazz. No other bird identifying app or website comes close. Cause when you wanna know, you wanna know! ??

So far I have been loving this app. I often use the the picture feature and the bird call feature. I love how much information you can get and the different calls you can hear.
