I started using this app to keep track of the birds in my backyard and it was just a casual thing. However, I have grown addicted to the song identifier :-) and the ability to see other birds in my area as well as keeping a list of the birds in my backyard is just a bonus! Love this app.

I’m surrounded by all sorts of birds and it’s absolutely brilliant to be able to identify what they are. I’m not massively into ornithology, but I’m thoroughly enjoyed this.I just wish I was able to photograph them quickly enough to add them into my album. Thank you

I snapped a photo of a bird at my local park and the app wasn’t able to identify it from the photo but invited me to send an email and a photo. An email response was quick and I learned the bird was as a juvenile Black-crowned Night Heron! I even got a link to learn more! Great job!

The app is great! It's useful for learning birds by sight and sound, and fun to share in other's observations. The sound identifier is sensitive enough to pick out a target bird from background noise, and can keep a compendium of observations.

I love this app! I have always enjoyed hearing different bird sounds, now that I found this app, I am able to quickly identify the sounds and learn more about the birds, where they are from, what their migration patterns are and so much more. The bet thing about it is that if you can not identify your bird by the picture or the sound, you can email the app developer and they immediately reply back and tell you what the bird is. Ive never had that with any other app. I highly recommend this and hope you will share it!

With this app handily available on my phone, I find I am often taking advantage of the easy access to identify new and interesting birds I encounter, especially when I travel to New places. It has made me so much more aware and appreciative of the birds around me and I am so happy to now be able to recognize so many species. The app is so easy to use and Michael is very responsive whenever I have had questions identifying a bird. I highly recommend this valuable tool.
