Problems

Nana Peanut

I’m having a problem with the Sleep++ app showing on my Apple Watch exactly how much I slept whenever I get up and I tap awake then it’s not calculating how much and displaying it on the watch how much sleep I got I have to go to the app on my phone this is a problem

Doesn’t work

spacestarssss

Tried this app, told it when I went to sleep and when I woke up, and then it didn’t record any of my sleep data... Frustrating.

Can’t get any data

JonasFoxx

This is night 3 of trying to use this app with my new Apple Watch now that I finally stopped getting the permissions error. Each night I set my watch to “start sleeping” and each morning I hit “stop sleeping” I can’t find any data in the iOS app, in the health app, or on my watch. So it will be an uninstall for me as I assume all it’s doing is draining the batteries.

Manual tracking stopped working?

paradisewahine

Happy with the app but after a while, the manual tracking is not showing on my watch and wondering why..

Best Auto-Sleep Tracker

mmgreenmms

The auto sleep tracking in this app is great and works every time! It’s helping me see that I need more sleep and the sleep that I do get needs to be better. I’m using this app with an original Apple Watch (series 0) and it works great!

Perfect Now

Alice83

I used Sleep++ for awhile before the automated feature became available. While it was novel, after a few weeks I started forgetting to set it before bed, and soon after deleted it from my phone and watch. What a difference a year has made! The watch app automatically starts sleep tracking now and it’s quite accurate (my husband is a light sleeper and almost always concurs with Sleep++’s opinion of when I was restless during the night). It integrates with Apple’s health app/platform (I can’t stand apps that want to silo their data away- looking at you FitBit!) so that sleep and activity data is centrally stored and available for review. The sleep quality updates you get on the watch 10-15 minutes after getting up are perfectly timed and really informative. I take off my watch (series 1 - don’t need to track my swim laps or pay for another cell plan, thank you) in the evening when I make dinner and take a shower. Slip it on before bed and it’ll make it through the night and next day with around 40 percent charge left (and I interact frequently with the watch during the day). One day, Apple is going to integrate sleep tracking into watchOS and when they do, I hope they just buy Sleep++ from the developer- it’s so simple, automatic, accurate and integrated into Apple’s health platform that there’s nothing to improve!

Good app

Luke Elliott Thomas

I tried the free version and it worked so well I donated to DAVE. I don’t know what he could improve on. It’s works well picking up the sleep from my Apple watches.

Best in class

Studio57

The best sleep app I used in any platform. The automatic sleep detection works well and easily worth the five star rating.

Apple Watch

Istvanniv

Doesn’t support automatic sleep monitoring with Apple Watch.

Insomnia

I feel like this app would be good for a normal sleeper. As a person struggling with insomnia and watching the clock at night, I am seeing the pattern that the app doesn’t recognize my tossing and turning and moving around in bed as “awake”. Even when I get up and move around my house it still logs it as ‘light sleep’. The pattern I’m seeing is that it only logs my time as ‘awake’ if I’m actively using my phone at the time, and I try not to do that for insomnia reasons. I had hopes that this would help me break down my usual times awake and how long it takes me to get back to sleep, but unfortunately it seems to be more limited than expected for my personal condition.
