Not a great experience

It is not a very good app to match with a very good website. I don't understand why it is. Check out the salon app or the USA today app or the Yahoo app. Many of these are nicer than this slate app. I am thinking of just using the mobile web version instead.

An online news magazine should be ashamed to have this app. I am a slate plus subscriber. It seems that most of the non-written article content on plus does not work on the app. How can this be for a digital magazine in the age of the smartphone? I have followed slate for over a decade. This app tarnishes the quality of the enterprise.
Great Content, New AP

I've also followed Slate for more than a decade. It's one of my favorite starts to my news addiction. This is a new version of their AP, but I've not experienced any problems.
Can anyone read a single story?

I have not been able to get even one article to open; instead the app crashes. Very cagy game they are playing there.... OldUncleHo

Terrible app. Most of the time the stories won't open at all. Stopped reading Slate on my phone.
