Why would Skype allow users to download the video conversations? That's invading our own privacy. Some people would record a video conversation and pass this on to somebody in social media and porn sites!

It is so much nicer (when calling overseas) to use a phone than to talk to a computer.
Really good...and more consistent than FaceTime

Great app! In the past two months living outside the US and traveling to various countries in Asia, I have found Skype to be more reliable and have better call/video quality than FaceTime. I'm not sure what all they changed in Skype (or in FaceTime), but the difference is substantial. And when comparing to Hangouts, this can be used in China while any Google product is unavailable.
New update won't allow me to stay invisible

The new update will not let my status stay invisible as it used to. If I exit the app to check something and return, my status is back to online. This is very inconvenient if I'm not wanting to be bothered by my contacts.

I've had skype for over 5 years and I've loved it but Ever since I updated skype if I close the app on my iphone it makes me re-sign in! It takes so much time and I'm starting to think about deleting it please fix this!!! I will give a better rating when that happens!

This app is a great way to get in touch with my dealer in order to figure out where we will meet up. Cops never even suspect this app. Great for other uses too!!! Great for spying on my daughter while she sleeps! Great for my clients when they get in a little to deep!! Overall, a really great app!
Annoying a lot of the time

So I use skype alot, and have for years, but there are a good few problems. For instance, whenever i log in on a new device it takes me to an old version of my account (like how it was two years ago) not to mention the agrivating call drops and contact syncing issues. I think skype's a great service and the concept is amazing, but there are a lot of bugs and gliches that REALLY need to be dealt with
