They charged me a $300 odor fee, I returned the car without odor. Sad because I liked the service.

This should be the best way to rent a car. Unfortunately it's nothing but hassles. First they were late. The driver was apologetic, but the in-app chat support people were not. Felt like I was talking to robots. Then when the car arrives, the "inspection" feature doesn't load, so I can't note damage. They also told me fuel was marked as 0.88 of a tank on delivery, when in reality it was 0.75. I sent photo of odometer and gas reading. I've now spent three days checking back in to make sure they updated the gas, so I don't get charged extra, and they haven't yet. Apparently it requires "engineering" to go in and do that. The last thing support told me was that if I do get charged extra for gas, management would "be happy" to change that for me. Excuse me? These people couldn't care less, it seems. Shame cause it could be my go-to rental car option in LA! Oh and they gave me a decent car, but it had no plates, only a temporary Florida tag in the window (this is in LA), despite not being brand new. Not exactly a problem, just odd, and a bit sketchy. Like the operation overall.

Skurt is amazing. Literally the easiest way to rent a car- all I did was tap a few buttons and they delivered my rental directly to me! They didn't even charge me any underage fees since I'm under 25!! Never renting anywhere else again.

Save your money!!! Do not use this rental service, rip offs charged me an extra $300 for a cleaning fee when the car was clean and I paid for the damage coverage. Workers are horrible as well, always late. Save your time and money.

I was floored how absolutely juvenile and unhelpful this company handles themselves. Not only did they take over a THOUSAND DOLLARS out of my bank acct over a $280 rental but the support staff and drivers alike merely point the finger at each other for blame but will never lift one to help you. Would you like to pick up around LAX? Nope! You better be ready to take A $60 cab to make it to one of their drop zones. Would you like to drop your car off half an hour early? NAAAHH. They'll have to take another $280 out of your account for you to do so. Are you confused as to where your driver and car are? Welp you're gonna be even more confused because they will stop contact with no warning, leave you on the side of the road with all your possessions and then make you pay ANOTHER $280 for a 'new' rental and make you wait an additional hour. I texted their awful support line and told them this wasn't acceptable and they just flat out stopped responded. I GOT CRICKETS! Not only did they take $1027 out of my account over the course of three days but responded to my emails with cookie cutter copy pasta that usually had no relevance to my complaints. Don't call the number by the way because it's DISCONNECTED! Haha. Insane bad service. Super surprised by how bad it was. I am not exaggerating.

Can't recommend this to anybody who values their time at all. If it doesn't matter to you that car is delivered or picked up 30-120 minutes late then this could work for you. Otherwise, Skip it. Also, the customer service seems not to read your messages or just don't care as they will always give you a copy&paste answer that has nothing to do with your question. Finally, the app logs you randomly out, crashes etc.

I've never had such an easy, pleasant experience renting a car. Every single thing that is convenient about renting a car the "traditional" way is preserved, everything about the traditional process you hate is eliminated. Amen.
