I love this app, I like it's purpose per say. One thing I despise is the "pay for pro tools". This being an artistic app, I feel as if one shouldn't need to pay to get the full art experience that traditional art doesn't give.

I don’t know how many versions of this app I’ve paid for, I’ve lost count of the number of updates to “pro” versions I’ve bought. All I know is I have fewer brushes and layers available every “update”. I suspect a “pro” subscription-only version is on the way. This app is like a scab that Autodesk can’t stop picking at. Sketchbook could be good but it’s unnecessarily frustrating and limited. I keep it around because it does one or two things well, but there are better drawing apps now. Shop around.

I have downloaded and tested several drawing apps. For creating drawings for pyrography, I appreciate Sketchbook for its ease of use and versatility.

I loved this app... not so much recently. I use it almost daily on my iPad Pro. I like to save the biggest files I can, for the resolution. But recently... I have to save 8 times before the first attempt actually goes through. When it finally does go through it save like 3 times. Honestly I could live with that IF, IF it saved with the transparent background like I wanted it to, but it always has a white background. That is probably the most frustrating part. I had no issues in the past. It didn’t matter the size, small, medium and large files would save and send no problem. Now to top it off in a last effort to salvage the love I had for this app, I deleted it and reinstalled to see if it would solve the problem... but sadly it didn’t, and I lost all of my files. I’m trying to keep this as clean as possible but I’m mad to say the least...

It's an amazing app, with all the options to create professional and beginner art. But PLEASE, PLEASE add the option to select an area, copy, and then paste it like in Flipaclip! PLEASE.

For being a professional Cartoonist, Sketchbook pro is worth getting, it has done everything I need it to do for me for cartooning and love it :)
What happened to the first Sketchbook Mobile? Buy It Anyway!

Instead of giving us an update for the original Sketchbook they come up with a new one and the original completely disappears from app store. For those who already have the original Sketchbook, why pay again for some features the new one is giving? With the original Sketchbook I can create layers (up to 18 layers), I can time-lapse record, it has brushes (and I can create my own too), and it has the fill bucket. And I don't have to create an account neither. So why pay again? The original Sketchbook should have stayed in the app store. And we should have gotten an update giving us in-app purchase to be able to have some features of the new one if wanted to spend money for those new features or look. Or a discount for the new Sketchbook Pro for those who already have the original Sketchbook. By making the original Sketchbook disappears from the app store is only forcing us to get the new Sketchbook. If you delete the original Sketchbook, it is gone forever. Buy the new Sketchbook and unlock full access ($3.99) if you don't have the original Sketchbook. If you have the original, keep it and never delete it because you don't need the new Sketchbook. Second thought.... Buy It Anyway! You won’t regret it. Best drawing app!!!!
