I have found this app helpful just wish when you see a new or better deal you could add to your reservation. Also still have to stand at ticket counter to pick up.


The "overcharge" is a DEPOSIT! You get it back!

Many other reviewers are upset because their credit or debit cards were charged more than the agreed upon amount, and I'm thinking that some of them must not have read the contract they signed. Yes, on the first day I rented I saw a charge for more than the rental fee on my bank statement, and it is because the charge included a deposit of $200, and I got that $200 back in full when I brought the car back without damage. Deposits are customary for most rental car companies. I travel often, have used SIXT several times and love them!

Once upon a time in a land far far away, there existed a company named sixt whose car are fantastic and the prices were just as fantastic. Then, an evil butthole people invaded the sixt company and completely ruined the fantastic prices. They even turned to fraudulent advertising where as an email is sent to a SUBSCRIBER and a member noting low prices ($37.00) per day for a mustang convertible and when clicking on link, taken to the internet and searching day and times only to be shown by the evil company sixt $176.00 PER DAY. What you say? Truth. Sixt is a company I used to love and now I am sick of their high prices and continuous fraudulent advertising. A shame ... not happily ever after. The End .....

Before my attpemt to rent a car from this company I'd never rented a car myself but had been around people that had. After making a reservation online with this company I was given the run around and no real answers to anything. The first gentleman Sam so great I was actually shocked at length he was willing to go to make sure was taken care. After Sam did all he could he recommended I go a second location. I went still in good spirits there was no cars available there, ok totally get it. Came back the next morning and had to call someone to get help to the counter. After Steve arrived 15 min later he was very rude and short. He said he wasn't able to rent a car to me because I didn't have a major credit card. After asking several questions I was told that each location does do the same thing. I walked away and came back several minutes later. Asking if there was anyway that I would be able to get a car he told me NO! The only he could is with a credit card. I explained to him what I was told at the other location. As he became more aggravated with my questions, I asked to speak with a supervisor, and with a rude and condescending tone said " I am the manager". So after several heated exchanges he was on the and got this situated and able to rent a car for me. After his phone call he then tell me to rent a car I would have to pay $395.00. $395.00 to rent a car for two days. Needless to say I had to miss my mother suprise party, the only of her children to do so. Hat really ticked me off besides Stevens tone and attitude towards me was that anywhere I read and looked and called I couldn't get any answers. I wasn't asking them how to build a rocket ship or anything just simple answers as to say that was. I found it ridiculous that the only thing several people could answer that's just the way things were. Being in customer service my self I was completely taken back by the lack of answer, service available, and the plain immature nature that things were taken care of. Not once from anyone after Sam did I receive an apology or anything.
