I have always found it stupid that you need a doctor visit for contact renewal. I live where getting an eye apt is a giant pain. This was insanely easy.

The selection and process was so easy! I just renewed my prescription in my living room instead of driving 30 minutes into town with a toddler and an infant.

Anyone leaving a review saying this is fake are WRONG. Everything worked great and for simple contact renewal when you know your eyes are just fine, this is great. Obviously if you are having serious vision problems see a doctor in person. For what it is, it’s legit. I am was NOT paid to leave this review, it’s real deal with it.

Really Not Amused

Downloaded app hoping to renew my contacts prescription. The app shows “Loading” and never gets past that. This is on an iPhone X running on the latest update. Terrible QA. Update: not sure why this is the case but if Firefox Focus (basically ad blocker) is installed and enabled, the app will not work. Not sure what SC does or loads in the app/web site but it runs afoul of ad blockers.

I was almost out of contacts and decided to renew through Simple Contacts. The process was pretty “simple” and straightforward, though I did have to redo the distance test once because I wasn’t back far enough. The software doesn’t seem to match distance exactly. I was over 10ft away, but got my script less than 24 hours later after the second test. Very pleased with the process and super easy.

I heard of Simple Contacts on a podcast and decided to give them a try. The exam is very easy and they will walk you through re-taking the exam if you do not do it properly. The customer service communication through text message made for a very quick and personal response. They even followed up with an email to make sure all questions were answered. My order shipped as stated and actually arrived a day earlier than expected. I will definitely be using them again!

The “doctor” wanted me to retake the test. They waited more than two days to tell me that. This was a waste of time. I’m waiting to see if they charge me for the “exam”. Maybe this works for some but the service was unreliable for me. I’m just going to pay for a real eye exam out of pocket rather than waste any more time or effort on this useless app.
