Crashes without notice...

Zigmasterflash

This game gets into the loading stage then immediately closes down. I did a reinstall without any change.. Not a cheap price for the game and doesn't work to boot. ??

Sound

Dr.Douglas

Love the game, works fine on iPhone sound is great, but just bought a new iPad Pro and the sound doesn't work tried menu everything was set for sound and volume was turned up but still no sound, any ideas?

Too many problems

captandy

1. Destroyers have some magic ability to never get hit by torpedoes 2. No torpedo computer to figure out when to fire 3. Nearly every time there is a battleship hit said battleship crashes into and becomes stuck to a cruiser and no matter how many torpedoes and shells you hit them with they won't sink and you never get credit for them. 4. Difficult to see even in daytime play 5. Terrible map 6. No range finder on the deck gun so go ahead and use up your ammo just seeking the range and when you find it all you can do is eyeball it as there's no range or elevation dials on the gun.

No Sonar?!?!?

Mark E H

I wish I could rate this game higher, but who puts out a WWll Sub-Sim without sonar? Targets must be acquired, and attack runs executed, visually. There is auto-targeting of the torpedoes, but not of the deck gun. Using the deck gun requires approaching to within less than 800 yards, and then guessing at the range. Also, using the deck gun frequently causes the inadvertent selection of reverse thrust because of an overly sensitive thrust selector located within the deck gun sight picture. There is great potential here, if these problems are addressed, I will re-submit a new review.

Incomplete

HallaHall

What is there is awesome. The graphics are good and it is fun to play but you always want more. 1) No medals, it has a place for medals but never have seen one. 2) I was led to believe there would be two classes of subs and more variety of enemy ships. 3) except for home base there are no graphics for islands or ports. Silent hunter 1 (the only good one) had opportunity to infiltrate enemy ports. 4) no specific missions 5) Silent Hunter 1 had a "ward room" or something where you could go in anytime and check your log book and keep track of progress and past missions. I would recommend this as I believe an upgrade is coming but great start and I hope better to come.

OK sim, hoping more to come

DOM293124

It is a decent app, but like a lot of comments said, could use more. Also would be great if they would fix the bug that causes the sim to not reload torpedoes.

Good game but needs some improvement

SnowTurbo2002

Great game, good graphics, easy to use. Only reason why I have it two starts is due to attacking any kind of destroyers. It doesn't matter how many torpedoes, or how well you are trying to evade them, they seem to find you and destroy you with you unable to kill them.

Waste of money and time

Rodger8

Nothing is in synch. Headings are 189 out. No down scope. Maps are messed up in regard to directions. Tutorial is useless.

Improve combat effects

Had0910

This is a very high quality & realistic sub sim in my opinion. Everything from the physics to details is impressive as are the 3D views. A big area for improvement in my opinion is combat effects. It would be nice to hear sonar pings from enemy ships, for your crew members voice to sound more urgent when getting depth charged, sound effects for enemy ships that you can hear while surfaced (for example if your spotted a loudspeaker will tell sailors in Japanese to go to battle stations) and sound effects for depth charges hitting the water and exploding at various depths. I know some people have mentioned in game tutorials. Yes this is an area that could be improved. However, there is a Silent Depth Manual (google it) that will teach you all the basics. It’s a good manual complete with decent explanations and pictures. Five stars well deserved, keep up the great work.

torpedos

Scott804

torpedos needs more improvement. the aft torpedoes just go straight. they dont hit anything.
