The Shell app now allows you to use mobile payment from your smartphone to pay for fuel and convenience store items at participating Shell stations in the United States. The app features the Chase Pay® mobile wallet for secure transactions. The app also integrates your Fuel Rewards® program loyalty account for convenient, mobile access to your loyalty savings. The Station Locator within the app helps you quickly find the nearest Shell station with mobile payment. For your safety, please do not use the app while driving.
SHELL MOBILE PAYMENT (at participating locations)
Mobile payment allows you to pay from inside the comfort of your vehicle. No more payment or loyalty card swipes or keying in information at the dispenser. Enjoy faster, more convenient transactions - at the pump and inside the convenience store.
PAY AT THE PUMP
Simply confirm your payment and enter your pump number. The app will generate a 3-digit authorization code. Enter the 3-digit code into the dispenser. For your safety, please leave your phone in your car while you are fueling. When finished, the app automatically displays a receipt with your transaction information.
PAY INSIDE THE STORE
Inside the store, simply select “Pay now” on the Shell Pin Pad and show the app QR code to the cashier to scan. When finished, the app automatically displays a receipt with your transaction information.

I wish there was an option to use Apple Pay or to connect a Shell credit card account to the app to pay easier, and also to be able to check balance and make payments on the Shell card.

The app itself is very effective and efficient way to view your savings, access your payment method, and find what’s local. The next step to improve on, I’d recommend placing the daily prices of the station on the app.

This app needs more payment options. I do not use Chase pay so this app is worthless to me right now.

I was looking forward to using this app to pay at the pump. I linked my rewards account only to find out that I can’t use the app to pay because I don’t bank with Chase nor do I have any Chase CCs. It doesn’t even support Apple Pay! So there is no point to having the app...disappointing.
