Complicated and Confusing UI

The app is confusing and doesn’t seem to integrate with Shell’s fuel rewards program. I contacted customer service via the in app link after I did not receive credit for a fill up. That was a week ago, and still no response. The interface is also confusing.

This app only allows you to pay with Chase Pay. Since there is no chase branch in my state, it is almost impossible for me to use mobile pay feature. I encountered a new problem recently. I cannot login to this app using my existing Fuel Rewards account information. In addition, sometimes The information provided by this app is inaccurate. I once tried to find a station with car wash, but when I went to that station, stuff there told me that the car wash facility is permanently closed.

There is a bug when trying to create a new account. When I check the “captcha” to prove I’m not a robot the app just loads forever and never allows me to validate my account. Bummer...

After every single update, the app will ask you to login and relink FuelRewards. What a waste. Not sure why shell app needs another layer of hassle to have FuelRewards app. I am really doubt whether I should use shell app anymore for just saving 5cents per gallon.

I downloaded the app and signed up for this and for FR just to get the discount. And now where am I told I need chase pay. Only after signing up am I told that. So update the payment method. Until then this is a terrible useless app.

I got a notice there is a security update and to complete it. Went in and now it doesn’t recognize me at all. Says my email doesn’t exist and prompts me for a entirely new profile.

it is apparent the App was created by a Web Developer or someone using a *Tool* to generate both iOS and Android versions. The absence of good User Experience Design is Lost on these developers, and they should be ashamed to call this anything but a tragedy. i Like Shell Gas Stations, but the App *Fails* to meet even the most basic standards of the App Store. if i were to guess, this App was created by an offshore team Looking to capitalize on the still popular - yet troublesome - trend which started in the Late 90s and continues to poison and pollute the noble profession of Software Engineering. Offshore *Development Teams* are notorious for meeting the Business Requirements, and delivering a 2-star App. Should the case be that i am wrong... then the App is even more of a tragedy. The Careless Design of the App screams: “i am a Web Developer but i can write Native Apps using *React Native*...” OR Some other JavaScript-based *Framework* that almost always equates to a pile of pain. if i am wrong on both accounts, please correct me.

What’s up Shell, Every time I’m at the pump, the app ask me to change password or completely log me out. I have to spend like 20 minutes to make it work. Every time I need to use the app, it not ready. Have login again and again. Very frustrating.

Shell credit cards are managed by Citi. It makes no sense that they limit ‘‘tis app to chase pay. Ridiculous. I’m deleting it.

Why should I give you my cc log in to chase?? Are you kidding me! This gives you access to my information. Also forces me to create a reward. If I don’t use your station a lot I don’t want this. I just want to pay, how I want to and get on with my life
