Great alternative if you occasionally game

Griffyen

This is a great alternative if you do not want to fork out money for a gaming computer, or if you game occasionally. I’ve tried it using the android version as well as the iOS app on 4G LTE with little to no latency. It probably works a lot better on dedicated Wi-Fi or Ethernet but this experience has been very pleasurable so far. I can game virtually anywhere I wish.Highly recommended if you sparingly game, want portability or don’t want to spend a lot of money on a gaming computer. Yes you need a controller, iOS, duh?

Impressive and a mobile necessity

I was using the beta for the last month and am so glad your first version finally hit the App Store.....now.....please please please incorporate some kind of cursor support for navigating windows, it’s very painful without it. Absolute great service though.

Great so far.

Suggestion for others: Change your windows settings to ‘tablet mode’ and scale your screen to around 150% for an experience that’s easier to use with your iPad or iPhone. If you are using an external iOS keyboard, you still have to use the ‘show keyboard’ command to get it to work, even though the external ios keyboards won’t be seen.

I can’t make a account

When you download the app you only have a sign in screen. There is no option to sign up. Please fix this.

This is the future

No need for local hardware. If your like me with a large steam library you couldn't play go for it.

WOW!!!

My experience with this application on iOS (Ipad Pro 2017) its unbelievable. I am very please with the results and look forward to seeing updates on these servers. I never thought i would be able to play actual pc games on here. I always tried finding the next best think to find an app that can stream and here it is For example one of my favorite classic games Killer Instinct (Xbox One) i was very pleased with the speeds of downloads and the graphics. I understand that on iOS its a the beta stage but i cant wait to see the end result for it. I haven’t tried it on Android tablet but I’m very sure i will be pleased with the results as well. One note is there is lag on the IOS version side seeing that its in beta stages and hope that these will be fixed soon I haven’t tried it with steam yet but i will be testing it but i only saw that lag with videos and xbox one. I look forward in seeing many changes and updates in the future.

Shadow team, phenomenal job on this initial release! Seeing as how shadow is a front-end for a desktop-centric experience (and gaming) it’s important to have the right ‘mechanics’ for movement within the desktop and games. Please take a look at Remotix or Jump desktop (also found within the App Store) and the cursor mechanics along with keyboard mechanics these apps utilize as they have a Remote Desktop and gaming experience that caters toward smartphone and tablet power users. They also have support for an amazing Bluetooth mouse (yes indeed!!) called the swiftpoint GT which is just phenomenal. You can literally use those apps + swiftpoint to have a complete mobile desktop in your pocket. We want the same for Shadow please because Shadow is so much more than just another Remote Desktop client. It’s a triple-A game streamer that NEEDS proper cursor and keyboard mechanics.

Still some issues, but otherwise it’s great

There are still a couple of bugs that seem to appear when establishing the server connection. The app will close out or appear in a lesser aspect ratio than before. The screen phases in and out of connection and my iPad seems in working order so I’m not going to believe it’d my device just yet. Having a mobile PC for gaming or other PC using aspects has been excellent. Especially since it’s the same pc you log into everywhere. Convenient
