My autistic son doesn’t understand why his favorite app isn’t working anymore! Please fix Update: glad to have it back!

My son loves, or I should say loved this app. But the most recent update has made the X button smaller and he has a really hard time hitting it. Even I struggle. Also the pictures for each video are bigger and it makes it harder for him to scroll and not accidentally pick one, when he does this and you add the fact that he has a hard time with the X, I have a very frustrated little boy. I soooo wish this app could be reverted back.

Great app, but uses a ton of data!

Our son loves this app! He uses it daily and we like that older videos from past decades are on there for him to see. The only complaint that I have is after the recent iOS update to 14.7.1, we aren't able to use the app as of today on any of our Apple devices. Not sure if Apple broke something or not. But this has really upsets our son who is a huge fan. Thankfully I was able to access the videos via Sesamestreet.org and YouTube. But please fix this!!

Hate the Update!

Definitely one of our favorite apps. Before the update I could make dinner while my daughter spent time on the app. Since the update she gets too frustrated. The x button is too small. The video thumbnails are too big and she keeps accidentally picking videos she doesn’t want. Videos are constantly pausing while watching. We miss the option to choose from 3 videos after finishing instead of being told what video is next. Miss having Favorites on the main screen. Now she can’t find them in her own. Can we bring back the previous version???

We’ve been using this app for a couple years & loved it until the most recent update. Half the videos freeze within seconds of hitting play. The best part of the app was that my toddler could use it without my assistance & now he’s asking for help ALL the time. Not ok!

this app is constantly glitching my kids love the app but it freezes every few seconds and then eventually shuts down and i need to uninstall and reinstall it for it to glitch again….this app needs to be fixed asap

We love the app & content but a recent update has changed the way to exit a video and now it is much harder for my toddler to navigate. Please change it back!

My autistic son LOVES this app, but we frequently run into trouble with some of the games not loading. Today the Cookie Thief puzzle loads a preview screen but there’s no start or play button ? HELP?

Does not work on secure networks

My son loves this app. After the big update, it stopped working on our home network and would only work on cellular. Turns out, the application is trying to open TCP connections to Google, OpenDNS, and Cloudflare on port 53 to determine if the application has internet access or not. This is a problem on secure networks, because connections to external (unfiltered) DNS providers is regularly blocked. To make the problem worse, is specifically use TCP instead of UDP. On a secure network, UPD is regularly captured and redirected to the local DNS server to ensure all apps work as expected- but this is a problem with TCP. Long story short, please stop determining internet connectivity by querying DNS providers over TCP. Just do a simple DNS query over UDP with a predefined timeout please.
