This is a great app! If you add IPMI remote to your "toolbox" (for XServes with Lights Out Management (LOM)) you're really equipped.

This app works perfectly with my Mac Mini Snow Leopard Servers and that's just awesome. Nice to be able to enable/disable services remotely.

It's too bad. I was really excited to see this app but it's just a viewer. Sure you can turn on and off services but you cant configure them.

I haven't been able to find any other app that will display information from the servers I am responsible for. There are 2 in the Midwest and two here in California (and I work out of the CA office). Being able to stop/restart services with this is HUGE. Along with the app Jump if I I am out and need to quickly access, kick a service, or do a complete restart I can do it without lugging around my laptop. I also have this on my desk next to me just to monitor the information without having to fire up Apple Remote Desktop. Yes this won't replace Apple Remote Desktop and its functionality but for a "quick/dirty need to get this done now" this app rules them all.

Great app, some small issues with both iPhone and iPad versions. Devs responded quickly and are working on the issues. This app is exactly what I need for mobile monitoring of servers.

Before buying this or any application, make sure the product has verifiable installation and use instruction. This particular product fails to help unsophisticated users that just want this product to learn more about remote services control.

For those of us who do know how to use this (it's pretty simple... Put in server address, user name and password), it does exactly what it should do. Remote reboot, service statuses, general statistics. Very nice product.

Server Admin Remote allows me to check on my Mac server status, in depth, when I'm away. It's so convenient that I often use it when I'm NOT away, instead of using my desktop machine with Apple's Server Admin. Technical support is great. I reported a fairly uncommon bug and received a quick response, with it fixed in a new version within days.

This is good as far as it goes, but we need to integrate the temperature, fan, memory and other features found in Apple's Server Monitor utility for it to be truly great.

Monitor all your multiple servers, check operation of assorted services and check all server logs An excellent remote monitor worth every penny!
