Great idea but missing essential features

2045

No push notification when service stops working.

Nice

Like the app would be nice more updates that include all server features, mountain lion

Now, if it only had screen sharing built in.

James Davis

The only one of its kind. Appears to provide just enough of what's needed to setup services. Some services need to be renamed to match mountain lion.

Indespensible!

Essential for those running OS X Server.

Top notch monitor app, works well over VPN

kb8wfh

This app has workes flawlessly and monitors everything I need. The interface is easy to use, provides data in useful ways. The app works perfectly as well remotely by Logging into the OS X server via VPN. Some additional controls of The server app would be my only suggestion for a future version.

made admin life easy

it app works for me

A good app

Arkanjil

But not great- as of this post, it's still not Mavericks compatible; the Services list is incomplete, and it doesn't have Remote Desktop (Amended: it does support opening an external/third party VNC like iTeleport, which is pretty neat). As much of it as works, works well, and until another comes along, this is as good as it gets...

Excellent remote admin tool. (A must have)

Time saver application to manage server svcs remotely. Easy setup and easy to use. Log reporting is excellent. Cons. Not support for Mavericks

Was excellent until 10.9

BenFeingold

I came to rely very heavily on this app for monitoring who is using shared drives, VPN connections, and just about everything else. I had no idea upgrading from 10.8 to 10.9 would break the functionality. Until they get this fixed, I'm relying on iStat for general server monitoring.

No update - no use under Mac OS X 10.9

AttiSun

This app is pretty unique on the App Store and until Mac OS X 10.9 came out, there was little to nothing to complain about! Today, it's been more than half a year since Mac OS X 10.9 was released. This app isn't cheap either ... Where is the update, so that severs running 10.9 can be monitored? You are a developer - if you can't figure it out yourself, talk to Apple - they can help! Hence, I give it only 2 stars - meant to motivate the developer to release an update that makes it compatible with Mac OS X Server 10.9. Don't buy this if you are running 10.9 - it isn't going to work for you!
