It says your client is outdated, please update your client, but there is no new update, I need help. I will bump up my stars and give a better review when this problem is fixed. So what is the problem and how long will it take to fix it?

Your client is outdated...

Alfamonk

I get the message that the game client is outdated, so I have to update. But there is no new version. So I can't play!

Client is outdated (no updates available)?

Right now when I download the game it cannot be played at all (the client is outdated it says). I was happy playing this game until this suddenly happened. I do not play on PC, only on mobile, so it all seems very strange to me. Otherwise, this is a great game but I hope the devs can solve this issue.

I have been searching for good games that deserve micro transactions. This game is everything I’ve been looking for. Soooo in depth that it’s very complicated at times. Which is a good thing. The world is vast. Graphics are outstanding. I’ve spent $7 dollars so far. Not because I had too. I can’t say enough. You just have to try for your self. I will say there will be some boringness in the beginning. But it makes you learn slowly. Which is also a good thing considering what your going to have to learn.

Add Game Center

Hey you should add Game Center as a login option I would really like that to happen

Reminds me of Eve Online. Awesome graphics and cool story.

Microtransactions > Game

This SHOULD have been an AMAZING game, but they destroyed it by making it centered around a micro-transaction framework, instead of gameplay. Pro: Beautiful graphics, good mechanics, lots of ships, vast open universe. It has all the elements to put it in the “epically amazing” category, but hit a brick wall to make room for the micro-transactions. Which beings me to... Cons: 1.) Micro-transactions!!! Will developers PLEASE find ANOTHER way to make money besides tricking people into spending money on nothing? Make a game good enough to sell, and just sell the game!!! You're destroying the mobile gaming industry with greed and laziness! For instance: just charge $$ to download the game, and then sell story/campaign expansions that include more ships or blueprints you get BY PLAYING THE GAME. “...But that takes creativity and effort!” Yep, and you’ll be left with a work of art you can be proud of, instead of a scam. 2.) The story/campaign ends abruptly, and you’re left with a hand-full of repeating missions to grind. 3.) There is no mercy for you if you happen to get a phone call, need to respond to a text, or just need to put your phone down while playing... no auto save, or idle mode. And if you happen to get hunted down and killed by a player while idle, there is no way to recover your ship (insurance conveniently does NOT apply PVP kills unless you're in a noob zone), so all that money you spent on micro-transactions to get that cool ship is GONE. I know this review will most likely disappear behind a wall of fake/paid reviewer spam, but do yourself a favor and just go play an actual space sim. Looking for an Eve replacement? Why not just go play Eve, or Elite Dangerous? They’re all way cheaper than the micro-transactions needed to progress in Second Galaxy, and WAY more fun.
