Pretty pay to win hell

Baalsaq

Pretty much the whole game is behind a pay wall. You really can’t progress past t1 stuff without gala and it’s very hard to get gala without cash. There’s pretty much nothing in the game you can’t get with cash and nothing in the game you can get without it. The game caps everything you can do. It takes maybe an hour or two to run all the encounters explorations wormholes and scanning missions and then you have to wait for everything to refresh unless of coarse you pay cash for some probes. You can’t do sovereignty stuff without insane amounts of gala which again comes back to cash. To attack a system costs $100-$200 worth of gala. Most of the English speaking people have left the game so %75 of the active players left are Chinese. The game has a lot of potential but the pay to win is suffocating it.

Not for the casual player

Chrisnicki

This is a good fun game and still has room for improvement. However after playing it from the start i can say it is definitely not for the average player. This game heavily support pvp even if you don’t want to. The protected areas in the game are not worth staying in and most of the game can’t even be played without leaving the safe area. It’s a sure way to lose everything. You can buy cool ship and earn some but what’s the point if 5 minutes after getting them you will lose them in a raid while minding your own business. Players shouldn’t have to fear getting attacked and losing everything every time they take there ship out. Therefore I would only recommend this game to hardcore players and no one else. I hope one day they will adjust the game to include a larger variety of players.

Developer has no control

ZenJohn

I made a in game currency purchase of blueprints to replace a Trie 2 ship I lost. This was over the Christmas holiday while doing other things. I took the blueprints back to my base and built the replacement ship. Then when I went to outfit it.. it is now where to be found. Game support cannot track any of this activity. Therefore they will not replace the ship and the other items that I purchased. Since I didn’t make a personal log of my activities, I’m S.O.L and they will not refund my recent real world $ spent. There is also talk of a glitch that allows for some players to duplicate items, giving them a huge and unfair advantage. Stay away and don’t give the developer any $.

You will get robbed by a whale.

Stay away from this game. You will spend a considerable time investing in ships and equipment, only to have someone who has spent thousands of dollars take that away from you in an instant. Not worth the time, there are more fair pvp games out there.

Star What?

CptCalceum21_13

First, this is the most “Star Wars” game available on App Store - tbh I was upset at first bc this is what a Star Wars game should be - am I allowed to say STAR WARS? Once you accept it’s an RPG and not a pilot game this is LOADS of fun - auto pilot your way around the (un)known universe in a action/turn based hybrid format - trust me, just turn on auto-pilot and zoom in/out to witness the AMAZING intergalactic starship battles @Devs - my only real complaint is the UI - it just looks kinda basic and tbh I quit the game early on because it just doesn’t look sleek - PLEASE don’t judge this book by its cover like I did, it takes a good while (20 hours or so) to even unlock everything

Enjoyed game up to level 28...

Steve_544

Ok. I spent close to $100 on gift, daily, and weekly bundle packs. I was starting to really enjoy the game. Then I reached level 28.... At level 28, I started getting attacked, during Ops, by other players. The Ops restricted what ships I was allowed to leave the base with—and the other player attacked me with a stronger ship. Naturally, my ship was destroyed. I went out on a scan op, I was just floating in space, so tried going back to my base, but it wouldn’t go. Then the attackers came at me, I tried fighting back, but again was destroyed. You have an option to re-activate your ship, but this costs Iridium to purchase a contract, and this eventually gets back to in game purchases (regular money). ... I had to do more research, online, to discover this, but one of the earlier main Ops requires you to relocate your forces to another location. Basically, you start out—probably in a high security (safe) system—and then are encouraged to move to a low security (unsafe) system. The worst is “lawless”, but in a low security system you can be attacked by other players (with more powerful ships). If you don’t have a contract to re-activate your ship, it’s lost. Since this will likely happen, early on, just when you’re just starting to get a feel for the game and gain some strength, you can easily wonder why you should even continue with the game. I’ve moved to a high security system and intend on staying there—if I can—and recommend the same for other players.

The Lag is real- great game, Horrible Performance Issues

Hanzheming

So tried playing for like a week on my iPhone 8. I really like the game, it seems to me that it has lots of potential and endless hours of actually interesting things to do. The learning curve is quite high, but that’s not a bad thing when you really dive into a game. The only thing that is killing me is the performance of the game on my phone. I have awesome WiFi, so I know that’s not the problem, and I have googled every trick about improving performance but nothing seems to work. The game seems to get extremely laggy and occasionally kicks me back to restart the game. It’s so bad that it really makes me just want to walk away from the game. I hope it improves, because I would love to keep playing.

Awesome game

Doz-a

There are a lot of ways to customize your ships, as well as quests to pick up. When I first started the game there were so many features I was actually overwhelmed by how much I had to learn with the interface. Some improvements I would like to see: -More wormhole uses, or more space-dungeon like regions. Wormhole is a lot of fun. -A help section or guide that is easy to find -A more prominent warning that ships being destroyed in risk areas are gone forever, unless you have a restoration. I didn’t know they ran out and lost several ships, luckily they were low level

Updated review

Bjkrum

Been playing since day 1, and the games development has been steadily improving with every update. Overall the balance in the game still leans towards lasers, but the once wide gap is much more narrow now. Really looking forward to each update as each one has brought more and more positive things to the table.

If you like giving money to others

D-ric902

I’ve lost 4 ships, after paying a bunch of money to get them, to basement pajama boys that have nothing else to do with their McDonalds paycheck than to buy Iridium with. Then raid and kill other players ships to take their stuff, I guess it saves money to steal devices and supplies from others. The compensation requests for loss from them violating the rules times out and expires before anybody can get to it. WoW collapse in progress
