Very enjoyable!

Nice length, fun game, great graphics. Mini games ranged from easy to medium, and there were some novel ones. Hops are list, silhouette and interactive. Globes to collect in each scene. Regarding the price, there are two listings of this game on the App Store, one with the “get” button and one with a straight price of $2.99. If you play the trial (get) one, then the price is 6.99. So play the trial, but don’t buy that one. Delete it and then buy the 2.99 one. Yes, you’ll have to play the trial portion again, or just buy the game outright to start with. I deducted a star for Eipix touchscreen sensitivity issues when trying to pick up an inventory item. That is a consistent problem with them. Otherwise, a great game!

Take a Slow boat

I have enjoyed previous Adventures in this series; However, this offering has very little to recommend it. Although the plot initially feels interesting enough, it quickly bogs down under its current own current, with repetitious HO's, stale puzzles, and mediocre graphics. There is no map, leaving the hint button for all transport. Placement of the tall lighthouse hint button causes frequent accidental striking of that area, as does the X on the top right of the screen, which is struck during zoom procedures. The game feels old and stale, and I found myself looking forward to its end. There is no lag between screens, and HO's are properly reactive to touch. The game is moderately short, although it seems longer because of its insistence on getting multiple portions of items before they can be used. Recommendation: Pass, unless you are desperate to something while you watch your grass grow in the winter.

Tides of Treachery-plot twisting fun!
Dracyy

Sailing ships and stolen loot, conspiracy and devious characters this has it all! Lots to find lots to do! Map is in the menu and no custom difficulty are the drawbacks but the beautiful artwork and well written plot twists more than make up for it! There are a couple of mice one of which you have to feed but they are rather pathetic looking no beady eyes or anything. It even has a restless ghost! Verdict:buy!

Worth the money

The game loads fast. Navigation to all points of interest. Easy to read map. Needed objects not too far from the source. Puzzles not too hard but not too easy. Graphics are beautiful. Interesting storyline. ????

Good so far

Very enjoyable. Great artwork, hops and puzzles. Will update to five stars later barring any catastrophies. Well worth the price.

"Ahoy!" Hang Those "Jolly Rogers" or You'll "Walk the Plank!"

I love the change in premise to a seafaring, nautical theme as you meet various seamen and explore a ship containing various rooms and relative artifacts, such as shark and alligator heads jutting out from the walls, gambling rooms with poker tables, and hidden cellars with crates and jars full of food and gold; you travel to islands with caves full of chained skeletal remains and treasure chests as well as abandoned, decrepit shipwrecks and old fortresses. The graphics are disappointing; they appear washed out and not very sharp or clear. The colors vary with many darker or brighter shades depending on the scene. There are no customized settings; I think this is the third one within the last five or so games that exclude desired optional settings. In second mode, I have to put up with sparkles and HOS penalties. The inventory is labeled, interactive, and puzzle-like; items require assembly. The teleport map has smooth transition, but I do not have "action available." There is no journal; you need to read all acquired reading materials. Transition between scenes is smooth and quick. The HOS are not that varied since they are mostly word lists; however, they are multilayered and can be sequential. For example, you start with a word list ending with a riddle; then another list initiates. The puzzles are simple and relative to the theme; I love the one where you adjust the shadows of boats by moving arrows to match the backgrounds. You have a collectible; they are easy to spot. I took off two stars because of the following reasons: 1. No custom settings. 2. Access of map through menu is time consuming. 3. No variety of HOS. 4. Gameplay is too simple, linear, and short. 5. I had a glitch in one of the puzzles where you rotate, place, and connect cogs to align them within background patterns. I kept returning to the same obvious solution multiple times; however, the game would not sense completion. Yes, I did press the red button. Finally, after consulting the SG, I saw my solution was correct. After rebooting my device and retrying, it worked. Very frustrating! All-in-all, I like the change in storyline to a less spooky premise; however, again not the best.

High Tide in Tide of Treachery!

Each of the Sea of Lies games by Eipix is terrific! Nautically based, of course, so you have lots of anchors, pirates, sea shells, etc., and it all started with a message in a bottle! Now you are trying to find the woman who has killed several people. Yes, she's on board, and you are tracking her. In each scene, there is a Glass Globe to collect. You may play Hidden Objects or an alternative game. Good Hint, Skip, and Transporting Map are included. This game is fast moving and exciting. Set sail for adventure!

Disappointed
Sassy Jae

I have played many Big Fish Adventure Games and this one is very disappointing. Transitions from one screen to the next almost awkward. Graphics nice but game seems out dated. I don't plan to finish the game.

Another 5 Star Game!
corntiques1

5 Stars- beautiful graphics, not overly complicated plot, inventive puzzles and HOPs, long-playing, interactive Hint button. Two Suggestions - Please make the refresh rate adjustable both for the Hint and Skip buttons; and please put the map on the game board and not located inside the Menu button. Will definitely purchase another game in this series!

Nice games and clues
MJchitown

Some original games, and the clues are challenging but sensible.
