Cox sign in issues/ HMDI casting issues

when i first downloaded the app, it asked to use my cox account to unlock more episodes, and i hit allow. the little loading symbol pops up for two or three seconds, then disappears, and then nothing. i opened the side bar and at the bottom it says “sign in to your tv provider”, i click it, and the same thing happens. no error message or anything, and still not signed in. i downloaded the ‘discovery go’ app as well, and it does the EXACT SAME THING. i have an iphone 7 and i use an apple brand lightning cable to hdmi adapter to cast to my tv. i have never had any issues with playback on my hulu, netflix, youtube, a&e app, or any other app i’ve used. for some reason, i can start an episode of a show and it plays fine UNTIL i pause the video to open another app, or i unplug the cord for whatever reason. the problem is when i try to resume the video, the picture plays on my phone, but ONLY the sounds plays on my tv, and the screen stays black. as with the issue with signing in, the discovery channel app does the same thing. please fix this bug.
Not Working - Please Fix

When it used to login with my cox account it was great. Now all I get is the spinning circle for a second or two and then nothing. It's been like this for a few weeks, when will this be fixed? I travel frequently for work and this is my main choice to de-stress at the end of the day or on the flight. I need this back asap.
Video not controllable with voiceover

When I play a show using voiceover, I have almost no control. I can do 2-finger double tap to pause and restart the show, but that’s all. When I lock the phone and then unlocked it, and re-entered the app, magic tap started playing music instead of the program. The only way I could find to get out of the show was to close the app. Results are similar in the NBC app, so this may be a problem with all video apps Also, when I tried to sign in to verify my TV provider, it opened ratings in the App Store for animal planet go.
Some technical issues, too many commercials

Fix some technical issues and reduce commercials and it’s 5 stars. I expect ads in a “free” app but 4-6 per break is a lot. Issue with signing in through cable provider, never got a response from support but I figured it out myself. Under settings go into ‘tv provider’ and unselect this or any discovery network app. Then go back into app and it will let you sign in.

This is a very good app, since it lets me watch programs that my cable TV is not subscribed to watch. Thank you! The commercials are redundant beyond belief, though. I guess those advertisers are paying a premium for us to see their ads every break, huh? Still, love Mythbusters and Mythbusters Jr., and I’m even starting to explore other shows.
