Awesome App- can't do without it in Switzerland

Nee_R

I just LOVED it! That's why writing a late night review while still in Switzerland. If you don't have a data plan like me, I looked up all my routes in the hotel the night before and took pictures of the timetable/ schedules that I can pull up offline anytime. Mid you enter arrival and departure cities and time if you want, the app gives all the train timings with connections, and where to change platforms, platform numbers etc. every so many minutes. Very simple and easy. The changing platforms are usually next to each other so take the train right across and the times given are usually few minutes apart- that's why I love the app and the Swiss transport system. Mostly the trains have same times weekdays and run about every 20-60 minutes depending on the route. The timetables at the stations and the little timetable books given at the station as well as the tourist information services are awesome.

Doesn’t Open

This new update 5.1 for SBB doesn’t open with my older iPod Touch with OS 6.1. Wish I can revert back to the old app so I can still access the timetables.

Not user friendly

Incredibly difficult to use. Not user friendly. Difficult to find what you're looking for!

Nice

Very useful to find train schedules and buy tickets and use on the train in lieu of paper tickets. Doesn't let you buy a travel pass though.

Life saver and time saver. Amazing accuracy

I used this for my whole trip and it never let me down. I heard other travelers complaining about other apps. This one had up to date info with warnings, changes highlighted in red, and even included al public transportation. Coolest part was that it even told you were you were on the train route so you could keep track of how many more stops before yours. Very good app!!

Difficult to show ticket to ignorant ticket workers in low reception

E12abeth L.

Convenient for purchasing tickets and good UI/UX but bad for when your ticket gets checked in the middle of a tunnel ride with no reception. Apparently the ticket-checking workers have not been informed about the obvious lack of reception in a dark tunnel affecting the ability to load my ticket on this app! Patience from the ticket workers would be nice. (I got a rude lecture and loud sigh from the ticket worker who was annoyed and didn't understand why she needed to wait a few seconds for my ticket to load in the tunnel between Visp and Bern.) Also, while for security purposes having to sign-in every time I use the app is understandable, it's frustrating in situations above. They should have a feature that keeps you signed in unless a person deliberately logs out.

Crashes immediately when opening

Hobbes1987

This latest update causes the app to crash and close as soon as it opens. Nothing I do seems to change this, and therefore it is completely broken and useless

Please add Apple Pay button option.

I don't want to store my card or address details in your system. Don't want to have to put them in each time either. Please add a he Apple Pay button so both my card and personal info can each time go into your system automatically.

Lots of bugs

Chelas

I am trying to use the application and the server is suffering. You can feel it. How did they decide to allow an update as this without making sure that they had the right server response? The app seems to have good ideas but if it is not usable then what is the point???

In my case, without being able to buy a bicycle day pass ticket, this app became useless, as I need to go now to an automatic vendor machine (and don't hope to buy such a ticket online on the SBB desktop site, using a 4 or 5 inch screen, as recommended by such ignorant SBB staff)
