For somebody who lives in Switzerland and uses the app occasionally it is ok. However it doesn't give you any option to purchase international tickets. The DB app is much more advanced and more intuitive. My opinion not worse downloading.
Excellent - everything you need and a lovely interface

The touch interface is pretty and easy to use even while rushing to the train station. The app contains all relevant real time data. I do wish that it would remember your search time and date between searches while the app is open. Buying a ticket works perfectly - so easy and quick.

Very poor app functionality

- can't save templates for tickets that I buy every other day; have to go through the process every time; - forced to enter password on every ticket purchase, should use finger print - map functionality is incorrect most times. Wrong location for bus stop, no directions within large train stations.. - does not allow to link in 1/2 travel pass, so I have to get it out every time. Not creative and rigid, zero fun to use.

Having just returned from a trip where I relied heavily on the excellent Swiss rail syste, I would recomend this app without reservation. It was a huge help in planning travel and getting from place to place, the times are reliable, and it has a number of nice features like being able to save trips and get reminders. Especially useful if your German or French is rudimentary.
