Used to be a decent app even tho’ they never offered a lot of coupons. Now you can’t link many of the store loyalty cards. The app says “feature isn’t offered anymore”. When I contacted Cust. Service, was told to manually scan the receipt, which I can’t do since this feature isn’t offered for the store I shop at. Not using this app anymore.

I used to really like Saving Star. Over time I’ve seen other similar apps continue to grow and change making apps more user friendly. Saving Star has remained the same. If I could request one change it would be to allow online grocery orders. With the way things have gone throughout 2020 it’s hard to redeem many offers when you aren’t going into the stores much.

There have been 4-5 occasions in the six months where the funds were not added to my account. Customer service has been helpful but without your receipt to send them a copy they will not help you.

If you have a new account, don’t bother downloading

I recently downloaded the app and tried to link my store loyalty cards. I couldn’t get any of them to work, so I contacted customer service. I was told that new users can’t add their cards, so that means you can l my get rebates from stores that don’t have loyalty cards. For me, that’s only Walmart. It makes this app almost completely useless. They have been advertising that they have partnered with coupons.com, so I’m guessing this app will be discontinued soon.

I’m deleting this app..... I signed up in April of 2016..... this is October of 2020. I’ve earned 3.03!!!!! Ibotta and checkout 51 are far better.

I used this a lot some time ago. Now it won’t let me log in. It stays stuck on “finding account” I can’t even remember how much money I had on there but have a feeling it’s lost at this point.

I rarely write reviews, but this app is absolutely awful! First, there are rarely any good rebates. When there are, it takes FOREVER to scan the barcodes because the app times out every 30 seconds. Once you’re finally able to finish scanning barcodes and uploading pictures, it takes DAYS to receive your credit. On top of that, you can’t even cash out until you reach $20, which takes a very long time due to lack of good offers. There are so many other apps that do the same thing for way less trouble. I’m just waiting to collect my last $8 so I can delete this app for good.
