I'm "Caught" In A Web Of A"maze"ment!
KimTwilight69

This premise revisits the ordinary, "cut and paste" theme of someone disappearing under extraordinary circumstances; however, the story maintains my attention, as a die-hard lover of horror, with frightening overtones, such as the hooded, skeletal figure symbolizing doom whom you pay to cross the misty, fog-choking swamp; menacing, gargoyle statues with piercing eyes and long, razor-sharp nails guarding entry to the maze; strange, mysterious runes and symbols etched into ruined walls; and the ghostly apparitions of victims who seek your help to free them from their entrapments. The graphics are adequate, but they could use some "fine-tuning" to achieve improved clarity and refinement. The color scheme takes on a monochromatic hue with similar shades of almost the same dominant color of bluish-green emitting throughout. You can customize your settings; selections are generous and permit the benefit of rejecting the uninviting search penalties. The inventory is labeled, interactive, and quite puzzle-like; items require assembly. Unfortunately, each time I choose the incorrect item, it jumps up onto the screen and drops back down causing a small, annoying delay. Your tablet functions in an all-in-one capacity as it confines the main components, such as your notes and map, to one general area. The map is slightly idle and lacks immediate transport; however, it labels locations and indicates available actions. The HOS are recycled but contain a pleasant mix of assorted fashions; some actions within, including embedded micro-puzzles, are interdependent whereas one step introduces another step. The puzzles are comprised of some infrequent types that are clever and inventive in both presentation and challenge; the map-building puzzle was conducted in a unique manner that I've never seen before. On the other hand, there were an abundance of rotational ones as well. You have some collectibles, which blend very well into the background. I deducted a star because overall transition is slightly cumbersome as you move between scenes, HOS, and puzzles; this hindrance disrupts continuity. In addition, textual information is acquired through collected fragments, which does little to refresh one's memory of story progression. It's still an improvement over last week's games.

I've barely started and it freezes. Can't get beyond starting under water. Reloaded 3 times. I'm very disappointed in Big Fish games lately. Waste of money!

Could be fun but buggy & a bit clunky...

...not to mention the constant pop-ups to rate the game. Art is good and the story is intriguing- I want to like the game but interaction is often inaccurate (gave up on a few solutions only to come back & find out I was right but hadn't placed a long item juuuust right for the interface- not logic- to accept it). Lots of different puzzles to play, though the HOS scenes are confusing: I love interactive items & have no problem with implied interaction, there's no consistency in highlighted vs. plain text items. Now the game has frozen in the underwater temple after I unlocked the gate. After rebooting with no success, I'm reinstalling but if it freezes again, I'm giving up. Short answer: this game has potential but is not ready for release.

Puzzles were puzzling
Wasting time on games

Had to "Skip" a third of the puzzles due to lack of proper information or the pieces did not respond.

Good Adventure!

Enjoyable with beautiful graphics, believable character voices, hidden object scenes done in a differently. Much needed teleporting map which is always a plus. Storyline uniquely done. Had a lot of fun with this sequel to the series. Looking forward to the next installment. I did, however thought that it had a rather abrupt ending. Guess we will have to wait for the next one in this series as a continuation. Thank you to Big Fish & the developers for bringing us this great game. ? KdBoots

Liked the game

Good premise and storyline. I wanted to know how the Druid got there. Maybe another game?

Very Buggy!

This game had a lot of potential, but I agree with the other reviews that it is extremely buggy. I was able to complete the game without it freezing, unlike others. I had to skip quite a few puzzles because they were not interacting with my IPad properly. A lot of the storyline was cut out because the program kept reloading and skipping over text. I gave it three stars for the mix of puzzles (although I thought there were way too many swap the tile puzzles) and the potential for a good storyline. Just a little more time spent before releasing this would have made a big difference. I am glad I purchased this on sale and did not pay full price.

This was a technical mess and not much fun to play. To begin with, it was a very short game, even with bonus adventure. The graphics were all done in the same teal and grey color palette, so although they were decent they were dull as well. You could customize settings, at least. You had a tablet with a map, notes, achievements, etc. but no real journal. It was good that objectives were regularly updated or it would have been difficult to follow the storyline. But the story was basically searching for your brother and helping a bunch of ghosts along the way. There was a marked, if so customized, teleport map to transport you. However loading was not instantaneous between locations. At least the lag time wasn't interminable. There wasn't that much to do at each location. Inventory was labeled, interactive and had complex items to assemble. Unfortunately, this was LEAPING inventory, which we all detest and the developers have no excuse to give it to us! The HO scenes were short and uninspiring, or you could play match-3. Mostly all of the puzzles were boring rotational junk, which I really detest! It didn't help that this game was 3D and I had to add a very realistic MOUSE to inventory and it stayed a long time until I could use it and it stressed me out. Dracyy, I wish you had played first because NOBODY clued me in! You also had a gimmick which was a magical hand rune to use to open portals. It was a bit annoying until it clicked in and worked! I mainly deducted stars for length, unoriginality, lack of journal, leaping inventory, lag time and boring rotational puzzles! The game wasn't as glitchy as some reviewers complained but it was not a good game. I say save your money and hope that BigFish starts giving us better and more gorgeous games than they have the last two weeks. I am quite sure EIPIX will have a new one out for us shortly. We don't usually wait long for them! Lynxie sends ?❤️? to the DTE! Don't waste money on this game!

Frustrating

Liked the game itself but it took forever to load a scene or change pages.
