Great w one recommendation

I’ve used this for years. If only you could analyze workouts via a website. If only...

App would be perfect if watchOS native

techreview

Great app marred by dependency on iPhone. No valid reason at this point not to be standalone capable beyond lack of effort.

Great app only tried 2 others

I have used this since I started running in 2015. Elite version. Love it won’t run without my iphone. One wish list item would like if the routes could learn compare “looks like route x after a run” so it would compare without me trying to remember which route name I used etc. instead of new route every time

DO NOT UPDATE!

Denalon

This app used to have a selection to post various work out details to Facebook and hear comments read aloud. It was silly but fun. It no longer does that. = Less fun. If you update, you lose “free” features you have now. DON’T DO IT!

Wrecked My Marriage

Soho Brad

I’ve written several Runmeter reviews over the past six years saying that Runmeter threatened my marriage. Its comprehensive information, intuitive interface, accurate reading and slick presentation practically forced me out of the house every day just to fill my RM running log. It lifted me through five Marathons. Finally, my wife had it. She thinks I live to feed RM - and she might be right. This week she tossed me. Anyone with an empty couch in NYC, please write. This is serious.

Meh-support nonexistent

ReneeRoxie

Update: I have tried twice to contact support and the emails have bounced back. Very frustrating. It has a ton of features that it’s impossible to know them all and a bit complicated to figure out. One of the biggest features that I liked no longer works. It used to post to Facebook when I was on a run and then read me all the likes and comments during the run. This helped get me through half marathon training and my first race in 2017. Now, I’m 2019, I’m training again and it no longer works. Might have to go find some other app.

Love it but needs stand alone watch app

GRoot9923

I have used Runmeter for several years now and it is by far the best iPhone based running app. Now it just needs a stand alone watch app so you don’t have to lug around your phone on every run. Other running apps have this so despite my admiration for Runmeter, I may have to switch over to an alternative so I can run without my phone.

If you're looking for a watch app, look elsewhere

Major O

Nowhere in the description does this app explain that it is so severely restricted that you can't test even the most basic functions. Until you purchase the full app, you get nag screens for nearly all of the icons you touch. If you attempt to open the app on your watch, it just tells you to go to your phone. With so many fitness apps in the market, I'm not willing to spend ten bucks to find out what the issues are for each. It's too bad, this looked promising. Be honest in your description or give a real test capability!

Poor Apple Watch support

thomatically

Great app for tracking progress, staying motivated and the training routines are a nice addition. Useless if you want to go running without your phone. The developer will not invest in standalone Apple Watch support. If you want to go running without your phone, find another app.

Great app!

I’ve bounced around with several different running apps and this one provides what I need. I’m an engineer, and like all the different data and summary views this offers. I don’t have Apple Watch, but use the regular phone app with Audible books and works great!
