Super slow.

I used this app as a freshman and it worked great, no bugs or anything. it always loaded really fast. now I am a senior, and it takes about 2-3 minutes for the app to get past the run meter logo.

Works great!

JB85024

I've been using Runmeter for about two months, having been a loyal Garmin user for 6 years. It has done everything as advertised and more. It integrates seamlessly with my Apple Watch and is very accurate - even more accurate than my Garmin was. Very cost effective too - especially compared to Strava. For those of you who complain about shelling out $4.99 for the full version...really!?!? Where are you going to get another product this good for that little money. This stuff doesn't get developed for free! Thanks Runmeter for a great product!!! Update - seems to have lost connectivity with Apple Watch following iOS 9.3 and WatchOS 2.2 upgrade. Hope there's a fix soon!

Unhappy with subscription system

BrownMagic814

I bought this app way back when, when Runmeter bragged about paying for the app once and not paying subscription fees. I used it and was happy with it, but stopped using it when I bought a GPS watch. Imagine my surprise when I decided to give the app another shot only to be told that I have to pay a subscription fee to access the features I bought for a flat fee. In short, the app is good, but not good enough to buy twice.

Great iPhone app but Apple Watch app is just broke

TommyNorthAL

I used the iPhone app for years, I think it is the best app and has always worked great for me. I got an Apple Watch about a year ago and Runmeter did not support its heart rate sensor, so I used Workout on the watch. When I read that Runmeter now supported the watch heart rate, I tried it again. It overall works just fine for me, but has HUGE latency or update lag on the watch. I think some of the folks that think it isn't working or crashes aren't allowing for the slow watch update. When I just want to see my current distance on the watch and I wake the screen, it can often be 30 seconds or more before it refreshes. And the same for button presses. Really quite unusable, regardless of how "beautiful" the design is. I love the data, the customization, and the functions, but if you use Apple Watch it is just pretty much unusable right now. I am not a developer, so I don't understand how Apple Workout can work so smoothly and Runmeter so poorly on the watch. If Abvio figures it out, it will be my favorite again, I am sure, it is awesome otherwise.

Excellent App

Hogan2015

I have been using RM for several years and have been very pleased. It tracks everything I need and is easy to use. There is always room for improvement, which is why I only gave 4 stars. I just upgraded to Elite. One thing that would make it better: a larger variety of "plans" to use, e.g., a training plan to increase my time on 5k or train to increase mileage.

What happened to my lifetime subscription??

squid55

I took a sabbatical. After waiting the three or four minutes for the app to load I find out but all my data was gone and I was going to be required to buy another subscription No thanks

Ok to use

Great app on the iPhone, not for the Apple Watch

Billiantlyme

I'm really happy with this application…for my iPhone. But not for my Apple Watch. It offers a lot of great and useful features to help me track my exercise. I love this aspect of the app. However, I hoped it would work on my brand-new Apple Watch. Unfortunately, like has been the experience of many people who have reviewed this application, it just doesn't work on an Apple Watch. It consistently crashes every few seconds. I would love to have this application on working on my Apple Watch. Hopefully, the developers will come up with a functional version for the Apple Watch. It works great on the iPhone, though.

Use to ❤️ you!

This was my go to app for years. I've even upgraded to elite, I really DID love it that much. Something happened this week, not working with the Apple Watch anymore. Please I hope an update is in the works, cuz I want to love you again.

Most Accurate

HolyShitake

I'm a data nut so I compare the accuracy of these running apps to actual timer and route length. Run Keeper by far is the most accurate. I love all the features in the paid version has but I need a more specific user manual. Also the announcements give too much lead time. Now you hear the music dim, one to two seconds delay, then two beeps, two second delay, woman announces your stats. I think it's more then enough notice to dim music and go straight into announcements. I also love that it is the only running app that syncs with my google calendar so I can see all my runs at a glance when I have my calendar open
