I don’t write reviews but I actually feel compelled to tell you how horrible this system is. I have to delete and reinstall it every single day, sometimes twice a day! And several times a week I have to reboot the system. Doesn’t stay connected!! If you’re considering the RTI panel just stick To regular remotes
Like others that have written here, you have to have a licensed installer fix it if your app disconnects from your network. A pain and expensive. Also the app does not automatically get upgraded so I must be on version 1. 0 as the UI is OLD.
This is a frustrating system, I would not recommend. It’s hard to change the channel most of the time. I have to stand in exactly the right place and aim the phone or remote just right to get it to work. It gets so frustrating when I have to spend 10 minutes trying to change the channel or record something. Sometimes I just give up and turn it off!
Hello all, I have a total of 7 iPads that each control a conference room. The other week we updated all of these iPads to 13.4.1 and ever since the update the RTi app will randomly crash. We’re going to test 13.5 to see if that will eliminate the crash but it seems unlikely. Please fix ASAP. This is causing a massive amount of frustration to our end users.
This app locks up way too frequently. After one year it has lost the ability to function. Even when it was working, the design required entirely too many steps to manipulate a room full of tvs.
My phone did a software update and now I’m unable to turn on my tv because the app now states that my system no longer has a “license” to use it...
This app is RTI’s iPhone interface to their automation system. A professional installer will need to the programming and setup. It’s hosted by an RTI Control Processor. The App is stable and can be as simple and intuitive as your programmer can design it to be. The key is to have it tailored to you specifically. I use this system in my home and office. We love it.
How much time have the developers had to make this a decent product? Years is the answer. And yet I still have the same bugs that I had years ago and maybe even worse. Shame on you people
