I have always had a great time with this series. However, time and time again my unicorn will die with out hitting anything at all. This is due to them increasing the hit box area, yet, I’ve died walking on a flat platform and the game thinks I smacked into one. This becomes increasingly frustrating if you are on a long streak and as you progress into the game. The game overall is beautiful and the customization options bring more to the franchise. Not having to pay to unlock Erasure is also a massive bonus. It is a wonderful addition to the series, I just hope they can fix the gameplay issues as they are not always consistent but do hinder the experience.

Massive slowdown on my iPhone 7, 7+, and X... this occurred with the last update the game receives. Massive optimization? Sure doesn’t look like it... I stopped playing because of this.

Riddled with pay walls. Gameplay is worse than the originals, and now centers around a non-intuitive upgrade system that interrupts every aspect of the experience. Also the ui is hot garbage.

I’m really bummed that this game glitches so much. On my second wish (chopshop) I started the run and the? was a mile away running on nothing then it fell and I instantly died. ??☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️? I’m bummed because this game seemed so cool! Instead of just throwing tho tutorial info at you and letting you run, there’s an interesting storyline and interacting characters! I would give the game five ⭐️ if you just fix the gosh darn glitches!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Would rate negative stars if possible. This game is literally not worth your money, but it's set up so you'll only get anything of note if you pay ridiculous sums for digital bragging rights. It's buggy as HELL and seems to be getting worse, not better. Grievances listed are thus: * My previous review was deleted when I had been formerly assured that that was not possible for developers to do. * Sometimes you just die mid-jump or on a platform when there is nothing to die on. With the former- you only have two jumps but they're supposed to reset when you land on a platform. They don't always and cause your unnecessary death. With the latter- you will just die while running into nothing, and at the end of the run, the cause of death is attributed to "smack[ing] into a platform." * Unlike RUA2, this game has basically no customization. You can pick a unicorn and a world and that's it. With RUA2, you can pick how your unicorn looks, how fast it runs, how many times it jumps, how long it dashes for, if it flies, how quickly it can fly, had 6 songs to choose from, and more than 3 worlds. Then there were the powerups. There's clearly improvements to be made here. * Speaking of, there needs to be ways to jump more or fly. * And more music needs to be put into the game. I grow tired of Always. * The way RUA2 handles challenges is way better too. You don't pay to enter an event and tackle one at a time. They start when a previous one is completed and are updated at the end of a run. If you completed a challenge after your run, you are automatically rewarded there, unlike this game where you have to go and check the other challenge to see if it's at a place you can pick up a prize-and even then, it doesn't always give you the prize? Why? * Also sometimes when you do something towards a challenge goal, the game doesn't count it. Fix this. * Chests have gotten ridiculous. It used to be that you could get a fine/great amount of tears, soul gems, or bot tokens from their corresponding rarity. As it is after the latest update, the color rarity they are absolutely don't matter anymore because I've gotten the same amount of tears out of a common chest as a radiant chest. And you can forget about the rarer currencies ever showing up. EDIT: They said they fixed this, but I /just/ got a radiant chest and it only had 90 tear stones in it, soooo. * On the subject of bot tokens - when you get all of the robots, these become infuriating to get out of a chest or challenge. There's no way to fuse or level them up, or even sell them back. They become useless. * There needs to be more visibility of the upper levels because as it is right now, the moment you decide to go on the upper platforms, it's already too late and you crash and burn. * The background is very boring now, which is good because I can stop dying from not paying attention to what I'm running into, but it's still bleh. * The jump and dash buttons are not reversible. Please remedy this. * The chances of getting a radiant unicorn from the 50 soul gem forge are way slimmer than they should be. I've gotten more epics and legendaries than radiants. I only have ever gotten one, and it was from the 200 tear stone forge. Not worth spending money on. * The developers reply to comments, and they replied to my last one, but it's always the same basic thing - "whoops, looks like you're having trouble/ran into a bug. How about emailing us about it?" That's the only way they initiate contact is by telling you to email them first. * The unicorns themselves don't look very cool when they're running. In RUA2, their manes and tails were blowing in the wind like crazy- you know, like they were actually running. In this game they seem stationary and are also almost all the same. Whatever the little streams on light are that come off the unicorns when you hit fairies needs to be made special for each unicorn too. Everything looks too alike. * This game make my brand new iPhone scorching hot. There is no excuse for how hot my phone gets playing this game. *My stats page is incorrect, as it says I haven't completed any events, when I know I have completed at least 10. God only knows if the other stats are correct. If I think of more or if this gets updated/deleted again, I will edit this

I love this game and some of the changes they made from 2, but I really miss the light vs dark from 2.

When I heard of a follow-up to RUA2, I got so pumped. This game is a joke of its predecessor. What a shame.

Completely inappropriate for young children especially suggested 9+

This app has a recommended age of 9+ and I found some of the content extremely inappropriate for young children. First it appears to cater young girls and then once playing the “fairy” explains that it likes the unicorn to Ram it hard because she likes it. Then when playing the game the fairy bubble opens her legs as the unicorn rams it with its horn. Come on, really? This is really offensive to me as a parent of a young child and find it appalling that it’s targeting young children.

The game forgot me all of a sudden...
