At first, this game was kind of hard to follow as it doesn't provide a lot of explanation as to what some features do, but after you get the hang of it, it begins to make more sense. The gameplay itself is just like the original RUA but a little more 3D, which is a cool look but a radical change from RUA's 1 and 2. The song they use. Always, by Erasure. What a BOP. That's honestly what keeps me addicted to this game!! I also really like the events, but I feel like the awards, at least for now, are lacking. I also wish that more emphasis would be put on the stats of the unicorns themselves, kind of like RUA2. Though I do think that, as opposed to the RUA2 mixing and matching, doing the different forges also sets the game apart from its predecessors. I just personally wish the stats meant more and had a bigger effect on the gameplay. Come to think of it, it reminds me a lot of Oblivion's customization and stat building as opposed to Skyrim. Skyrim's is simpler and easier to understand, but provides less impact on gameplay. In summation: This game is the Skyrim of RUA. A more polished look, simplified mechanics, but still leaves something to be desired for customization.

Compared to RUA2 this game is horrific. Controls are wonkey, and the UI is less then friendly. RUA2 is by far the better game.

It doesn’t really look like an improvement. The graphics and sfx are much flatter and a little bland, and the game overall is still pretty buggy. I miss being able to customize the unicorn, but like that they give a variety

Please me make the pause button more responsive. I can’t tell you how many times I’m having a good run but need to pause the game for just a moment. However when I go for the pause button, the game registers the command as a jump, eventually getting me killed. It is super irritating and off putting.

I've been playing this game for 6+ months & there have been a lot of changes. At first it was forging too many Epic unicorns, then they fixed that. Now forging with 20 soul crystals yields Epic with a few better unicorns. Forging with 50 soul crystals yields Radiant unicorns mostly. BUT with the Oct 11th update I hardly EVER get soul crystals from raids or spinning the wheel anymore! What's with the big change? Very disappointing! ? Also the tear stone rewards are much lower. Less than 100 stones for small raids & spinning the wheel. So I never spin the wheel anymore...

...but the inability to gain premium currency directly through runs means that eventually you stop playing the game and just check the raid system, which is the only way to get pink stones in enough quantity to keep plugging the highest level forge. Tears are worthless unless you're madly plugging the one forge that takes them for low-level unicorns to recycle, and events (the one way to scrape a few pinks via the actual game mechanic) eventually stop resetting. Still playing #2 in this series regularly, but this one is basically just a slot machine.

A bit buggy, it was tolerable at first but now its very frustrating. Crashing into invisible objects, lag, etc. Could also wean off the IAP a bit and bring back unicorn customization. Also more music options like from RUA 2. Perhaps a ‘Do not disturb’ option as well while in game. Overall its a downgrade from RUA2 but in the right direction if that makes sense.
