Worthless App

lsnducjdnal

Really, who designed this mess? Difficult to use. No back button so if you want that prior screen, too bad. And the “ real time” arrival has no relationship to where the bus is or when it will arrive. Bus today came 12 minutes after real time said it arrived. I’ve missed more busses than I’ve managed to catch. Quicker just to walk than playing bus roulette with this app.

Never Works

AngryBusMan

The tracking system on this app is awful, it shows the bus as 2 minutes away and then it proceeds to not show up. The interface isn’t friendly when it comes to locating your bus route. This app is practically useless

Convenient. Needs work

I think this app is great because I’m always unaware of the bus schedule and which buses are nearby. The information is displayed organized. However I would like to have the information on the “choose your direction” menu reflect what I see on the bus. I don’t know whether a destination is south bound or north bound all the time.

Used to be great, but pretty useless right now

I’m currently waiting at a bus stop. I’ve been waiting for 10 minutes. When I got here, the app said the bus was 3 minutes away (the 3 min was in green, indicating that was a real time estimate). Those three minutes came and went, no bus. Now the app says the next bus is scheduled in 25 minutes, but a green bus is on the map about 5-10 minutes away (my guess). At some point in the last month or two, the gps of the bus got misaligned with the time of arrival estimate, making the app fairly pointless at doing what it’s supposed to do - tell you how long you have until the bus gets here. I used to be able to use the app to know exactly when to leave house, but now it’s entirely a guessing game. I ride the bus and use this app every day and I can’t really remember the last time a bus arrived when the app said it would.

This app is horrible

It has always been difficult to navigate through but the times were accurate. However these days it doesn’t come close, not at all. While waiting for the bus the app just said 9 min. 10 min later it says 12 min?!?!?!

Slight improvement

busmsa

By adding name of end station to pop on bus direction, it finally caught up with 19th century logistical approaches. Thank you! A little bit easier to use!

So inaccurate

LinBethesda

Sometimes the app will say the real-time arrival is 5 minutes when the bus is clearly (by view of the green bus on the map) much further. And sometimes the app will day the real-time is 5 minutes when I’m walking to the bus stop and the bus drives by. Either way, the gps sensor is off.

Fire Nerd Geeks

I hope Montgomery County sues Nerd Geeks for damages for this tragedy of an App. Could it get any worse?

I always have problems in my work, because the bus is delayed 15 or 20 minutes.

exelente nunca me a fallado

Not intuitive or accurate

Mercbubble42

I really hope they work on this app because it is sorely needed. The format of the app is not very intuitive, but I got used to it fairly quickly. I wish there were a way (maybe there is and I haven’t found it) to see buses that are at other stops instead of just the ones that are nearby. More importantly, however, the times are rarely accurate. They seem to run on gps, so I don’t understand how it can be so wrong so frequently, but I’ve often found myself standing at a bus stop a couple minutes before it says the bus will arrive and then the all says it’s there and gone without the bus ever actually having been at the stop. Not something I can depend on. I expect to always need to get there earlier than the bus I want to take, but then actually get on the next bus that’s scheduled to come because the app was wrong.
