Useless outside of EU

The card became useless for European citizens with bank accounts outside of EU unless traditional wire transfer is made. I had high hopes but I guess it’s time to top-off and say goodbye.

I signed up to try their premium card but after 3 months, and seeing no benefit asked if I could cancel it and downgrade to standard card. Was told no and that I needed to pay the monthly fee for the full year and if I didn’t pay it I would be sent into a negative balance and could be contacted by debt collection agency. I then asked if I could close my account and have my data deleted and was told no as I had a 6 cents negative balance and that they would keep my data for 5 years. No recognition of GDPR there!

Premium but..

The app is ok so far, just 1 issue. I added my card (Eur), but everytime I top-up my eur wallet it warns me that the card is in RON... I have to confirm everytime. Also, I upgraded to premium, but I still have limits for top-up and atm cash withdraw.. doesn’t feel like premium. But exchange is nice and no fees other than cash withdraw... and the premium fee.

First of all, it’s a beautiful app. Great UI, easy to sign up and go through verification. The compliment ends there. Money transfers have never worked for me. It says Money transfer failed and thats all. Support representatives kept saying try later. As of now, I fee like I got cheated out of 82€ premium fee. It’s not worth the risk putting money here and not being able to transfer it out.

I am trying to help out a friend who is in a different country, this seemed like the golden solution. I would have liked to know that this is not available in the us ahead of time. I just want to delete my account now because it asked for my social security number and I don’t want to download and use the app once it’s available. I already have several ways to do that.
