VNC over SSH works. You have to go to advanced and tell it to request (prompt) for the VNC password if you don't enter it originally.

If your thinking about getting this app I have a few comments for you as somebody who has this app.. it says it's for remote viewing on windows, Mac, etc but what they don't tell you is that for you to use , you have to pay for this app, you have to pay for a app on every single desktop you are tying to remote view.. they don't tell you this at all and they make it seem like just with this app, you can remote view but this is not true at all .

Failed to connect to my Windows 10 PC via RDP even though Microsoft Remote Desktop had no such problems. The issue was so bad I had to force close the app because it had hung. Looks like there are a lot of options, however if it hangs on a simple RDP then it's a one star app. Apps like this life and die by their ability to have even the most rudimentary connectivity functionality. iPad Pro 9.7 ios 10

If you are using rdp over ssh, this app works beautifully. The developer has been keeping up with the app over the last several years. That makes me feel money well spent.

The RDP feature worked great until I upgraded my iphone to 9.3.3 a couple of months ago. Now it'd crash as soon as I start the RDP session. SSH works fine but that's not the reason why I bought the app in the first place. Update: 2017/9/29 - App finally worked on ios10 after waiting months for them to push an update. But now that ios11 is out, the app has stopped working again while microsoft’s rdp client still works without any update. Totally not pleased with the experience.
