app works

smithsofweston

The app works beautifully when I’m controlling home computer from another MacBook. However, when I use my iPhone it is extremely difficult. There are mousepads on the screen and aside from the main one, I can’t figure out which one does what. There are no toggle buttons to toggle a keyboard, scroll buttons, the list goes on. There are no YouTube videos that show how to navigate in iOS, there are no manuals or guides, there seems to be no way to contact remoter, the forum seems broken. How hard is it for these app developers to put in one hour to develop a little guide to make their apps usable. In summary, very satisfied when using MacBook, frustrated as hell when using iPhone.

Dead App

DustangGT

Paid for this app and it’s DOA. Devs aren’t working on it. Website hasn’t been updated in a year at least.

Almost

symes dictionary

Cloud Manager function to save and possibly export/import doesn’t work. Click on the menu it shows the screen and then goes white. Probably just needs to be updated to latest iOS. Pity, almost perfect.

Won’t Work

pamlavender

Just loads and loads - won’t open!!!

Works well but does not handle IPv6 correctly

B767Driver

Now that T-Mobile has switched me to IPv6, unable to use with VPN. Tried a different VNC client and it worked properly

VNC over SSH makes it a winner!

I love how it makes it feel so simple, a few machines running VNC on the LAN and a tiny SSH Linux VM let me open up the machines without and subscriptions or special stuff.

Works fine!

Deekin_Scalesinger

SSH, VNC over SSH, RDP - all work well and quickly. One of my main apps for administrating various servers.

Very poor tty sizing

Dangrillo

Going to try to get money back. Ssh gives you a tty 90 rows high, with with bottom rows and top rows off screen. Don't see any way to configure. also no way to change font size or font.

Support?

Joe pilot2

There seems to be no way to contact support. The support feature brings up their website in the app but (both in the app and on a browser) there is no way to contact them other than the forums. The forum registration feature doesn't work (which explains why there are no posts since 2016) so I can't post. This app does appear to work after a few problems: 1. Entering a custom connection, both ssh and vnc, when in landscape mode it seems to frequently crash out of the connection edit feature when doinh text entry in some of the text boxes near the bottom of the form. It took me many, many tries to get the connection configuration entered. Once it was entered, it worked fine. 2. It allows you to be prompted for your password when connecting. It supports ssh keys. However, it doesn't support prompting for the key password. You have to have it remember the key password which is less secure than prompting. If you don't have it enter the password then it connects but just sits there in the ssh authentication phase until it times out. I've finally got things working and it does seem to function, though I haven't stressed it. I'm sorry to air the dirty laundry in a review but as I said there's no other way to contact the developer.

Still too buggy

[Jim]

Even after recent updates this app is still far too buggy to be of practical usefulness. I regret paying full price for it all those years ago. Use Microsoft RDP or RealVNC.
