16 turns not enough for the Brandywine scenario as the American player. Also, meeting the Brooklyn victory conditions do not give the American player a victory! Two scenarios share the same map and victory conditions, the only difference is that the opponents begin closer to each other in one of the scenarios. Overall very easy for the British, very hard for the Americans. I own many games by this developer, and know they can do better.
Battle after battle have outrageous victory conditions. Did anybody play test the game (or study Am history). One battle allows you to insert the same unit 100...200...more times! Certainly makes it tough for the Americans to lose 50% of their army when you can out number the British 100 to 1. Avoid the Rebel and Redcoats games (all versions) until they FIX it!!! Try playing Harlem Heights, King's Mountain or Guilford Courthouse as examples. It's value in almost nil as you search for decent victory conditions- 1 of 3 battles maybe playable - but finding them is not worth the time.
The overall game is very fun, and well made. Just a couple of things I hope you'll fix: -The brandywine scenario is way too difficult, 16 turns? I can't complete that. -The hessian uniforms are incorrect. Why are they red, and not blue? I thought they were British soldiers. Please make new models for the hessian soldiers. If you do not know, just look it up. That is something that I'd be so happy to see! It would be so awesome if you made at least two more, one for the grenadiers and one for the normal infantry. If you could, tweak the hessian grenadiers so that they deal more melee damage because the hessian grenadiers were known for they're skills with the bayonet. Other than those small details, the game is great! Definitely would recommend!
