I don’t think it feels like reason

I mean, a very limited version but I feel like they could at least emulate an older version like 4.0 or something rather than this expensive gamble... sorry, I’m a huge propellerhead fan but this was a letdown compared to reason and it’s competitors .
App is awesome, customer service, not so much

This app is a must have, but once you got it you seem to be on your own, at least in my case. I paid for the full deal, but now after downloading the new iPhone update the app won’t let me restore purchases. Sent emails to customer service to no avail.
Do not use special characters in project names

Edit 2 : I fixed the export issue by moving special characters . Don’t use anything that might break a file name , like ‘ in your project names and exports work fine Above and beyond the best music software on a phone , i purchased a copy of reason right after using this app

This is a fantastic and intuitive app for music production. The sound quality is top-notch and offers plenty of ability to manipulate samples and customize them. If there was any suggested room for improvement, it would be the ability to duplicate the instruments. As of right now, you’re only allowed three tops which limits the amount layering you can do within this app. Also the sequencing available is basically non-existence. In the end, I can do a lot here within the app but lack the tools to completely finish any song within the app itself. For those that don’t have Reason on a home computer, it may not give you everything you need.

This app is a horrendously over hyped cash grab. This app should be marketed as a game. Not as a serious option for an on the Go producer. Garage band is infinitely better. And it’s free

Great for quick sketches and I use Dropbox to get them into my full blown Reason Suite. I would love to see one more instrument so I can have drums, bass, rhythm, and lead.

Though I’m more of a Bitwig user these days I still adore Reason Compact as a musical sketch pad and have come up with some of my better ideas using it. I have kept my desktop Reason up to date so am able to use it as a VST inside Bitwig which is huge. I have purchased all three instrument unlocks and though Europa is a little bit less than the full version you have tons to play with in terms of modulation.
