I loved this app - used it for years. Today my iPhone broke and I bought a new one (ouch!) and loaded all my old favorites, including Reason Compact. But the app never makes it past the white loading screen so deleted it, updated my OS and tried again. Never makes it past the white loading screen. Tried a phone restart and still the same result. Ok, if I can’t use it on my NEW iPhone, how about my iPad?! Downloaded the app with high hopes and fingers crossed, same result as the phone. Before writing this review I thought I’d try the support options on the app and website - but I need to create an account and frankly I’m tired of creating new user information, more logins to keep track of, and more emails to verify and receive unsolicited information. After typing this review on my phone, iPad is still sitting on the white loading screen. Reason enough for a ?

When I can use the app I love it but around 90% of the time I open it it goes to a white screen and doesn’t do anything.
It does not work.... for me at least

It brings me to a white screen I’ll keep the app installed so I know that there an up date for it

I have been a reason user since reason 4 and this app has never been my goto mobile app to make music. I use bm3 and have dabbled in other daws like GarageBand and flmobile and every one of these apps are more like real daws compared to reason compact. If y’all made a professional mobile app that was capable of recording in a real sequencer, record/ audio tracks, auv3 and inner audio support,distribute mobile rack extensions , Add the nnxt or dr Rex to allow creators to import drum kits loops and samples. Last but not least add the audio timestretch/pitchshift feature with the movable transient markers. If y’all did this I’m telling you y’all would be dominating the mobile music market. Like cmon why is GarageBand free and offers a near desktop experience. There are a world of mobile producers out there waiting for these types of things. iPads are now advanced enough to use keyboard and mouse and connect external devices just like a computer.. PLEASE READ AND CONSIDER THIS!! - Reason user

Tbh. I think you guys can do better. If you simply made redrum id id pay $25-50 for it. If you ported reason entirely. Even like reason 5. I would be soooo happy. Specifically redrum though. Nothing beats its set up for me as far as 1) loading custom samples 2) multi output within the app 3) creating patterns 4) many patterns 5) copying them to the piano roll It just allows for easy arrangement and many other things. The mobile apps dont hold a stick to your reason tbh. And with the ipad pro as it currently stands and only getting better, i think its time you take over thr drum machine market and port redrum or the entirety of reason over to ios
