Reviews

Boring and not intuitive.

Usually I read reviews before purchasing a game, this time I didn’t...lesson learned. This game is pretty boring. There are no HOP’s or hidden objects to collect. Often times there is no logic to where items or doorways are located. A lot of the tasks are extremely basic and finding the tools are not a challenge. For instance, you click on an item, it moves, there’s the key, it fits the door in the same screen, door opens, you go through the door to do basically the same thing over again, the whole game seems to be that way. I will finish the game because I paid for it but my suggestion is not to waste your money.

Great new fun
Grandma Beannie

Plays great. Good pace, hints, graphics but best is a fabulous format....NO fairies, smoke, etc. Fabulously refreshing mystery!

Thank gosh...no HOGs!!

I really love a game that has limited or no HOGs. I much prefer adventure and interactive games. (There are plenty of HOG games to play out there. And endless tapping on a screen gets old.) So a game that focuses on storyline and item interaction is quite refreshing. All ERS games are creative, detailed and fun. This one is no exception though it is more on the simpler side. I didn't need to skip games or look for hints. There is no interactive map...but you won't need one since there is no back and forth hunting either. All in all...a great game. Oh..and extra thanks to ERS for adding the mini-games puzzles at the end of the game...for extra gameplay.

Seriously??

About the worst game I have played in some time. No map, and badly needs one. Storyline is poor to say the least. Very short and disjointed. Has an old feel to the whole thing. Very disappointed in ERS lately.

It was different but great. A real nice change.

No map
Angry bird challenge

Not paying for game with no map, its a pain going back and forth!

Too soon
Edyie62

You ask for the rating too soon into play. But, game seems to be pretty coolant.

Interesting and Unique Game

This game has a new and exciting storyline, with an ambiance of mystery and suspense to keep you on your toes. A man is murdered while playing on a reality show, and you investigate when his wife enlists your help. You are also chasing an evil clown around town. The game ran smoothly with no glitches, and I had instantaneous travel between locations. The inventory is labeled, and you have a journal to read notes and to keep track of clues. There are 3 choices of difficulty. There are voice overs; and your goals, if applicable, are on your right. There is also an ultra-violet lamp you receive early on for discovering clues and codes, which adds a nice addition. The puzzles are on the easy side, with a unique twist to some of them. I think the main game has 38 puzzles. The graphics are nice but a little grainy. There are NO HIDDEN OBJECT SCENES, so if you cannot live without them, then this game is not for you. There is also no map; but because the game mechanics are so simple and linear, one is not needed. There are no collectibles......boo! There is a bonus chapter; and the rest of the extras are the usual concept art, music, etc. This game has a different feel, which is refreshing. I would label it a light adventure with only a few things to do in each location and with a strong emphasis on puzzles. The game itself was rather easy and not that challenging, which is why I gave it 3 stars; but I still enjoyed it.

NO MAP - NO PURCHASE

Very short demo (under 10 minutes). Evil clowns is a recurring motif. No HOGs, no puzzles during the demo. Too bad, because I love murder mystery games rather than fairy tales. If ERS Studios adds a map and HOGs, I might purchase this game.

Don't waste your money

No hops and a lot of running around just to get stuck. Tried everything to get out of apartment hallway, nothing worked.
