Keeps me informed and entertained. Pictures are relevant and hysterical. I like that I can skip articles I don’t care about or delve deeper when I want. Best pass time but quick and I always run out of news stories too quick.

Losing its way

I am a long-time user and fan of the Quartz mobile app. I loved it for a few reasons: (1) Its format, (2) The news feed was truly representative of the day’s most important news, and (3) Its journalistic integrity. I still love the format of the app, but for the past couple of months, the news feed has felt less and less representative of the day’s news. It science and technology coverage has specifically felt more sensationalist, click-baity and poorly researched, with sometimes dubious source articles. To Quartz: I suggest reviewing and refreshing your editorial, bias, and quality control processes to bring the Quartz app back to its former glory, please!

This app is near perfect for news, but this review is to highlight the “graph of the day” widget. The legend is almost always screwed up on my IPhone 8, pls fix.

Good format. Not balanced

I love the format of this app. However, it doesn’t even attempt to hide its bias. I was hoping for a balance of Conservative and Liberal media, but was disappointed.

I kept using to see if the article would show a diverse opinion...

So biased it’s unenjoyable. Fun format but after reading for five months, every single article about the President is negative or belittling. Just tell the story, whether you dislike or like current admin. If every single article spews hate or belittles the subject with the title then it is a biased source. Sick of all the completely left or completely right media crap...FOX news, FAR right..ugh; CNN (and apparently Quartz) FAR left...ugh. If you are looking for a media organization down the middle with an unbiased view?...look elsewhere.

An overall good app

I feel this is an overall good app, away from the hectic-ness of Apple News. I do feel like there is some bias towards trump, and some of the forces responses sortve feel weird to click. I just don’t like some of them. Another thing- sometimes I don’t want to hear about a story, but later I do, so I have to just deal with the recap. I would love a setting where you could re read articles. Overall good app tho

Quartz is the best news app I have ever used. It has accurate content and seems to cover both positive and negative news where appropriate, unlike most modern media. Keep up the good work Quartz!

This is a fantastic app. It provides you with a quick concise overview on the most important news for the day. What a great app to have, to start your day, and be caught up on that which is important.
