This app is amazing! They give you news from all over and have different topics. The layout is also great! It’s in a “text” form and they give you highlights of the article. They also provide the original link so you can read it!

I was looking for a story that was in my Twitter feed. Instead of a thoughtfully designers page where I can curate my own articles, I get a dialogue with an algorithm. Why do I want to message with a machine?

I really enjoy using the Quartz app to get quick news delivered straight to my phone in text message bite-sized chunks. If I want to read more about a topic, I can always do so by following the story link where the full article will be presented. Notifications are tactfully executed as the app will only alert me to check-in once something major has happened, instead of for each and every little thing. Overall, this is my preferred app for quick news and it is well done.
