Best news source

I love Quartz! I’ve used it for years. It’s the best app if you want to stay informed but not overwhelmed. I love how interactive it is, too. It really suits my busy lifestyle and preference for hands-on, engaging methods of learning. I feel like they show a wide variety of sources, and try to get all the viewpoints. The best app!

Left Biased

I love the design and the functionality of the app. It shows me a lot of great news I never knew was going on. But a lot of the time they always bring up Trump and talk about negative things. Seems like just another news branch that is trying to bash him. Never mentioning any news or updates about the left. But I guess it’s true. There is no news media that doesn’t have a spin on the stories.

fun challenges

I wish there weren't always so many emojis and gifs; it's a bit awkward to use in public.

Notifications were in accurate

User with attitude

I received a banner notification from Quartz about a story involving Manafort and a paper trail and gates and his paper trail; however, when I clicked it and Quartz opened up, none of the stories dealt with that particular issue.

It’s OK

I enjoy the app for a quick update of international news BUT I really dislike the repetitive news items that show up in the afternoon and evening editions. There’s no need to repeat! There’s tons of news in the world...look further

Deleted after first use

How is this so highly rated? Let me start by saying I am a fan of Quartz and their news. That said... this app could not be more annoying. I can only assume this is a generational thing as to why people like it? I thought at first, oh cute! It's going to introduce a few stories this way and then I can scroll and look for the stories I want to read. Nope. It just continues to slowly "text" you stories you may or may not want to read. It's annoying waiting... I deleted this after the first use. It's a cute idea but if you're ready to read news- you want to read news- not "text" and hope the next story is good. 95% of what it sent me was not something I would have chosen to read either. 25 minutes I'll never get back.
