I love this app! Rather than having tl;dr guilt, as I do for not clicking headlines from other sources, I know these articles are short and too the point, but usually with several links to the larger articles and other infos to click on if I do want to dig deeper. This app should be a blueprint for any future news apps, it’s the future of news consumption imho. Although, if I could add a feature I’d like it to use some sort of learning algorithm to figure out what i find to be less interesting and I find to be most important. I don’t necessarily want to tell the app this, but maybe have it just figure it out by what I don’t read, and how often I read further in to things I do read. I expect this to be the case, but I still get a lot of frivolous articles popping up that I rarely read. I’d still like to know what I’m missing though, if it did filter something, so maybe a section to see what is left out if I want to look at it. That said, the apps is amazing! Dare I say the future of news consumption!
Amazing App but Strong Liberal Bias

Every story from the past two months has been anti-gun, anti-trump, anti-right. If I wanted to read fake news I can just watch CNN. Allow us to tailor our feed as to avoid this trash you call news and just read market updates or business movements.

A snooze button to avoid Trump news? That's cute and all, but how about a Nancy Pelosi or Adam Schmidt snooze? Obviously this a dog whistle that the app is a left leaning news feed. Too bad that the developers can't comprehend that everyone is not anti-Trump or liberal who use technology.

Great writing. Really enjoy the tone. Love the quickness and of the text format. Quartz runs on a clever and effective mobile platform that is sorta of a news-twist on choose your own adventure. Except this way you don't feel guilty about not reading back pages.

I have had this news bot for about 2 years now and of all the apps I download and delete this has remained. Be prepared to snack on the most breaking and fascinating news around the world. I feel informed and aware of goings on that although, dont concern me, are certainly more fascinating than swiping through the wild fields of social media.

Love the idea, love the execution. Hope they continue to work more on personalization of news. I’ve added it to my daily pool of news apps. Hopefully they will continue working on it so it can become the only news app that I need.

When the first time I saw Quartz, I said, that’s it! I got all I need! It made me feel like I am chatting with a smart aleck who knows so much. But now what I am getting? some stupid emojis and stupid gifs. No way I am going to give you a good rating. It needs to get back to the main idea of making the reader feel like chatting with a smart friend!
