App works well but don’t turn on photos

Olde Gael

The developer gave me good advice to turn off photo integration and then the app worked perfectly.

Increíble!

Not so easy

The blood pressure cuff is hard to use with one hand. It always takes at least two tries to reset and start measuring blood pressure. Irritating and probably raises my blood pressure just trying to use it. Upgraded to 4 stars. I appreciate the help from developer suggesting pairing directly to app after removing device from phone Bluetooth settings. Made that much easier. Still a little clumsy for me to use one handed to fasten velcro.

Excelent!

I love Cardio! It is very accurate

Crashes a lot now

Jhatzis99

**Update to my update** This app has gone from bad to worse. Followed developers advise and deleted and reinstalled (multiple times). App crashes every single time now. I am not running the photo slide show and despite the apps recommendation to take multiple measurements, I can only take one per session otherwise the app crashes after 2nd reading reliably often with cuff inflated. This is unfortunate because I have to monitor my BP everyday. Now, the app doesn’t send my measurements to the health app. I have the Nokia now. **Update** Developer contacted me. See below. I’ve never run the photo slide show so the info was not helpful. It’s definitely the app. Worked fine before latest update. Until fixed I’m recommending that users check out a different device and app. Headed to Apple this afternoon to check out the Nokia BPM+ This app worked fine for awhile. Now it crashes when I attempt multiple readings which is actually recommended by the app! Needs to be fixed.

Frustrated with the app

Connected to the QardioBase2 easily but I've not been able to get it to recognize myself or provide other measurements. The only instructions provided are to download the app. The app walks through the setup process. All seems easy until you start weighing yourself and you can't get it to recognize that it's YOU and not a guest. I used the "Claim" function to assign weights to me but the next weigh in still goes to a guest with no choice of another user available. If there is something else I need to do in the setup, it is not obvious. Update: I went through the setup process a second time and noticed that some of the steps seemed to get skipped passed and again had the scale only record as guest. Went through the setup a third time and each step waited for confirmation button presses and connected properly showing my name as an available choice to select from on the scale. Not sure why the first two setup attempts would skip through some of the steps but I would suggest to try repeatedly until success.

Great concept, but not yet ready for prime time

Beautiful design, a technical marvel, but the devil’s in the details. Received a new unit which paired once, then ceased to pair, and after two hours of fiddling, called tech support, and was told to check the batteries. “Oh, the batteries are probably low” (on a newly shipped unit—wtf!) So I popped in fresh batteries, but only succeeded in pairing with one of my devices. And this is a gadget for people with high blood pressure who aren’t tech-savvy Millenials, but more likely aging Boomers and X-ers. So Qardio folks, stop aggressively marketing your product until you’ve surmounted the design problems which could turn anybody into a raging hypertensive trying to make it work.

Crashes constantly

lowhangingfish

Like other recent reviews I’m an iPhone X user seeing constant random crashes during setup and regular use. Removal and reinstall don’t improve the issue. I have automatic crash reports turned on so hopefully the developer is reading them

Handy and accurate

I have two cancers at 80 BP in hospital results in white coat syndrome doing it when relaxed at home works better. My wife is a physician. One issue is that it does not turn on reliably I end up changing batteries or starting from scratch. The historical feature is helpful
