Best Game Ever

Bluearmor123

This game is the best game ever because it’s free to play and it’s a great way to get your brain stimulated, in the morning. Lots of people complain about the in game purchases because they got scammed or rob. The real reason is that they don’t READ the event description and they think they will get an op monster from the gacha. And the developers make events everyday in the special events selection menu with quest that suit your level and power. Yes the monsters can one shot you, but, only because the difficulty is high and not low. I would love to see new updates to it.

There’s progressively more difficult and then there’s Mount Everest difficult. The steepness of the increase in difficulty is a cliff and you struggle to find handholds and footholds and once you do, you get your hopes up, only to lose your grip and stumble back down. This game cheats. The very best heroes that you can’t even get in the game.

F2P player review

Great puzzle game! It has many different ways to play depending on monster. Fantastic art, multiplayer and daily bonuses. Some people are really whiners and want to have the best of everything all at once, which kills any replay value and challenge. I’ve playing for two years almost daily. It’s possible to make a great team without spending money. The only downside is that I have to rely on third party apps or sites to help me fulfill my enjoyment of the game. I feel like without these things, a new players experience may be a bit of a turn off. (Come on, I can’t be the only newbie who fed a tamadra to monster with no awakenings.....?)

Only mobile game I play

Puzzles are suppose to be challenging and PAD lives up to that in my opinion. In the normal dungeons things are quite easy as you just need to match and combo not too much to clear a floor. New cards already being released and new mechanics makes it a MUST for staying up-to-date with metas. And for a game like this, time and patience will now pay off since daily stones events occur more frequently then is has been in prior years which means more chances for the REM and also special event dungeons that’ll help get resources needed to help progress into the game. Daily stone events usually last around a month or 3 weeks followed buy another one not to long after so there should be no reason to pay to play unless you’re really impatient sometimes like me lol. But yeah, love the orb matching, love the monster/card designs, love the uniqueness of each cards leader and active skills, love how different bosses have different mechanics to overcome (wouldn’t be a puzzle if they weren’t that all challenging). Love this game and everything it has!!! You can even trade and message(mail) other people making it not such a loner game. Can duo or trio with other people if you like too! Overall I love this game and I’d prefer it over the anime lol

Hard to Rate

This game is not exactly easy to rate. For people already at a high level who are clearing end-game content, this game is incredibly fun. The satisfaction of seeing months, even years of hard work and practice, of building your skill, culminating in your finally clearing an incredibly difficult dungeon is like nothing else. But, like many other games, the new player experience is not the most exciting thing. This game is hard, and at times hard to love. Many will get bored or tired of bad luck. But for the few that persevere through those early stages— for the few that stick with it— the journey is well worth it.

free to play player

I am a free to play player playing for about a year. this game requires a lot of time and dedication but is completely free to play with the ability to clear end game content without paying a cent. however, it will require a lot of time and dedication like research and such and knowing when to roll from the machine to get good monsters. many of the negative reviews saying this is pay to win probably only played very very casually which means they didn't get all the free stones and things the game gives out. it will take time and for a while you will feel like you will never get good or any good cards but it just takes patience and a lot of time. If you are not ready to put in a lot of time into the game then your experience will be substantially lower than those who put in a lot of effort. keep that in mind as you play this game.

After 500 days of play

The library is huge!

I can confidently say that this is the best mobile game over ever played. Plenty of events, immersive and technically challenging game mechanics, active player base, and popular collaborations all combine to make Puzzle and Dragons the top of its class.

Solid Free to Play Puzzler

The base gameplay is fun. Free roam match 3 plus monster gathering and leveling. Skill intensive at higher levels as you try to match an entire board. What's not to love? Glad you asked! There are some unfun mechanics: energy based runs, random (real money) rolls to acquire the best monsters, obtuse mechanics that will instantly kill you if you don't already know them. There's ways to mitigate all the negatives, but it requires a deep dive to figure them out. If you want to take the time, you can be a successful free to play player. If you want to throw money at it... well, actually that still doesn't get you past the hardest part. Skill. You will fail f you can't consistently match. Which might be my favorite part of the game.
