I have been using several ssh clients on iPads and iPhones. Frankly speaking, Serverauditor is the fastest one IMO, Web SSH's UI is quite comparable with Prompt 2's. But Prompt 2 fulfills both aspects. It's fast and has beautiful UI. Above everything, the only reason I chose Prompt 2 is because it provides panic palette. I really like to have Solarized palette though.

I've tried serverauditor and reflections and while good, this is the most feature complete. If you want a customizable, elagant ssh client this is it. It fits nicely into the panic suite of tools.

Make no mistake, Prompt is a great ssh app, the best I’ve used on iOS. It makes logging into *nix servers very pleasant on iPhones and iPads, and takes full advantage of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus screens, which is great. In the past, I wrote in my review of this app that I was annoyed about their decision to require users to purchase a new app version. But I have to say, the purchase has been absolutely worth it, and my view has absolutely changed. I made a feature request for this app, and the support team worked on a very personal level with me to ensure that feature worked, and even allowed me to test out the changes via a beta release. That's bar none, the best I've ever gotten from an iOS developer that absolutely deserves support. If you want an ssh app that is actively developed by programmers who care about their product, this is it!

Panic writes some of the most well thought-out and charismatic software available, and Prompt is no different. The idea that I can pull out my phone to manage a web server from anywhere is bonkers. Combine that with great features like TouchID, and there isn't a better tool than Prompt.

Things I like: 1. Easy to use 2. Split screen and ipad pro support 3. Multi-tab support for easy multi-session access Things I would like to see added: 1. Xwin support 2. Split window/tab support within the app 3. Assignable shortcut keys for saved sessions

Server requires key and then also prompts for a password, keeps getting broken. Is thankfully working again. Let's hope it sticks this time. Raising rating back up, if it lasts I'll kick it up to 4-star. Thanks to Prompt team. I'm in SW dev also so I understand how it goes - but when I cannot login to production it's a big problem for me. Hope you have added a 2-auth test case to release testing :)

I use this to connect to my Linux server on campus daily without a hitch. Can't recommend this enough.

This app is definitely worth the money. I bought this as a test to see whether this was a good app to use for managing my servers. I do not regret the decision at all. The app is designed beautifully while also maintaining the functionality we all know and love.

Use it all the time with multiple servers. Touch ID and key based auth with sync across devices rocks.

I've used several, and prompt has stayed as my go-to access client for ssh access. Key syncing made is possible to keep my iOS devices updated as I chose, and the keyboard extensions are perfect for remote editing needs. Bravo and thank you
