I like having a single app that does both device-wide content blocking and also DNS encryption.

I love the app except that I regularly find it off, don't know why, without any notification that it is off. So I go unprotected for hours or weeks, depending on how long til I happen to check. Please add an option to notify users when it isn't running!

I’m a privacy advocate so it’s disappointing to write that I’ve experienced issues using privacy pro with my iPhone. I had glitches when linking to online locations from news articles. Also started experiencing dropped calls. I’ve disabled the app for a while to see if the issues stop.

This application doesn’t protect your privacy in any meaningful way. At some point this app stopped routing IP addresses through their service whether you subscribe or not. (Finding this out the hard way) You will be paying to use a free service cloudflare provides. Fingerprinting protection (this app claims to do that) does not exist in conjunction with an unprotected IP. Your IP address constitutes a fingerprint. Download Firefox, they use encrypted DNS (cloudflare) by default for free which is all this program does. Other pay to use VPNs will protect your IP.

Seriously no landscape?

App works mort of the time as intended but sometimes after an update, the user may find himself not protected anymore. Happened once and even had the missing vpn profile. Weird as I don’t know for how much time I was left out to dry... A small detail: bring landscape mode ffs! A Mac app would also be welcomed.

I just installed both AdGuard Pro and Privacy Pro. First of all, my phone is operating much faster. Loading websites that kind of thing I’m really having to double check myself but I would swear that everything is loading at a much faster clip. Also ads are definitely being blocked. I went to a couple of sites such as PCMag.com and a few other things. Using the Google app, it loads a webpage and there are ads on it. However if I go to that exact same webpage on safari, there are no ads. It’s much less cluttered, and more relaxing to read. I love it. I don’t fully understand all the differences; obviously Adguard is blocking ads ...I think these apps do slightly different things but, whatever, I’m loving all the results. One thing I did do is go into each app and mess around with the settings to try to maximize and turn on as many settings as I could. I also had to specifically go into Safari to turn on gosh I think it was Adblock in the iPhone settings. Thumbs up, it’s five stars for me.

Unable to Block Custom Domains

I attempted to block two domains by entering them on the customize tab they do not appear in the list of blocked domains.
