Pretty good, but not like it was

When Privacy Pro came out, you could create as many lists as you’d like to block all the unwanted traffic. However, now, you are not able to create any list without opting for the Pro plan, which is currently $40/yr. I know as a free user, they aren’t making any money off of me, but it stinks to start out on a product that was free and then have it changed to a costly plan. Aside from the cost issue, Privacy Pro is a really good app. I’m not sure I believe the quantity of data blocked though, it seems unusually high.

Blocking google ad services by default causes many apps to crash on some devices Please consider disabling this option by default Thank you

App immediately crashes, even after reinstall
Annoyed by auto-refreshing

I installed the app but when I try to open it just crashes. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled several times without change. Useless app.

Used to be a great app
CDH7102

... until iOS 14 happened. It only seems to work part time now. Emailed the developer, and got advice to reset DNS, remove/reset DNS profile, etc. Those things work temporarily, but it always goes back to not working. Hopefully they will fix the problems, but certainly not worth paying for with the current issues.

Unique design outstanding app
RLNfirst

For myself I find this app to be very unique and blocking everything for me! I have tried and paid for other apps that did not even come close to what this app does. I thank the developers for putting this app out for all of us to use. I bow down to the hard work they are putting into this app every day to make it better for you and myself! The updates that take place seems to always for myself make the app better and better! That’s hard to believe because for myself it’s always been a unique outstanding design app that I willingly give a 5 star rating! Yes it’s not free but I for myself have always found free apps don’t work out down the road! Download the app today now I don’t feel you will be sorry! (Really) so I wanted to say thanks again to the developers for such a great unique app! I wanted privacy protection more than just hiding where I am at and I feel this app does that for me. Thanks

Doesn’t stay connected

I’ve used this for years. Recently it began disconnecting, and reconnecting, repeatedly. It’s now unreliable and kinda useless, this after paying for the app.

Update bugs

This app worked great for years but the latest update broke it. It has stopped working seamlessly. Websites now load slowly and often with ads. I thought about a subscription but definitely not anytime soon after this fiasco.

iOS Family sharing stopped working
Davidphorne

** Updated my rating after successful and speedy interaction with support. The app is once again performing as expected. Kudos to Codi in support who shared a direct fix with me. ** Been successfully using this for a year and a half. Recently, after an update of this app on her phone, it no longer sees the family share and asks her to upgrade to a subscription. I have checked that our family share plan is configured properly and other apps are available to her. The description for this app still says it supports family sharing, so either that's no longer true or there's a bug in the latest version. Both our phones are up to date on iOS 14.2. Hers is an iPhone 8 and mine is an iPhone 11 Pro. If I can't get this resolved I will be canceling my subscription and finding an alternative. Not happy :(

Wow previously free features suddenly don’t work without Premium
Andre44

This app isn’t getting 1 star because the few things it still does without a paid subscription it does well. Namely, it seamlessly blocks some of the worst offenders like Facebook and countless others. However, despite always having a paid premium option, they’ve recently killed off some of the best features unless you’re willing to pay. No longer is it possible to simply add domains manually. No you either go with their limited choices of domains to block or you pay. I’m not really sure what the point of having this app is anymore.
