No current events

Astationzero

Got an email about a Mewtwo at Best Buy promotion 11/4-14, went to the store and the App lists no current events. Been checking the app every day and nothing comes up. Deleted the app and reinstalled. Nada.

Not Shiny Legendary for me...

Moonlight SpringAqua

The GameStop people were also trying to help me, but after much resetting and Log Ins and Out, nothing. My phone is up to date and all, the app never detected me on the store despite maps knowing I was there. They should just have given the code cards like they used to.

Who do I use this???

vex242

The app won’t even load up at all I was stuck on a loading screen for an actual hour and it kept trying to load up but never did

What a horrible idea

Always leave it to GameFreak and The Pokemon Company to make something as awful and user-unfriendly as it can possibly be. You have to be in the physical location of a participating store and then scan a QR code on an advertisement. What happens if they don’t have the advertisement up? Wasted trip, you can’t get the gift. What happens if they have the poster, but for some reason it’s not saying you’re in the proper location? Wasted trip, you can’t get the gift. You also only get one code, per event. What happens if the event is for two pokemon (such as the event that’s current, as of writing)? You only get one. What happens if the event is for four games and you have all four? You get one code. Somehow, every time they update how events work, they manage to make it even worse than the already previously horrible experience they managed to make. This version takes the cake. It’s the apex of terrible, which is par for the course, with GameFreak.

Won’t Load

CindyTheCat13579

For some reason, I don’t know if I’m the only one, but mine will not load up on my phone. I have deleted the app so many times. And I don’t know if this has to do with me reseting my phone (forgot my password) or what, but it will not load no matter how hard I try. Edit: I also just recently went to GameStop for the Sogalio and Lunala event. My father and I scanned the code. My father’s worked, but mine said it didn’t scan. What’s with that? I don’t understand what’s going on with mine.

Does not load. >:(

Tabitza

The app refuses to open, it is stuck on the loading screen. I’ve tried as much as I can and it doesn’t work.

Garbage App

Great Card Details!

No instructions, Shiny event had not expired but does not show, QR code emits nonsense which sends me back to Pokémon Pass app. (Pokémon Pass does not have a scanner as the poster dictates, went to a third party.)

Nothing good about it

First off, I had no idea this app existed until I was trying to receive a pokemon from a distribution. After trying to figure out how to get the pokemon for a bit an employee informed me of the app. I have very limited data and the free internet wasn’t good enough to even load the app store. I went home to try and figure it out. After downloading the app, I set it up with my trainer account and it asked to read the updated terms of service. There was a box to check accepting to receive e-mail notifications from pokemon. I intentionally did not check this box as I absolutely do not want them sending e-mails to me as I already use other methods of keeping track new and upcoming events. A message came up telling me that receiving these e-mails is required to use the app. At this point I decided I would just use it for the one distribution and the get rid of the app because I didn’t want to deal with that. I then found out that I had to use the location services on my phone to get the pokemon distribution to work. I decided to see what else the app could do and on it’s own the only thing you can do is get “stickers” you can use to take photos with. That is all. And this is how they plan to do pokemon distributions in the future. I checked the reviews I advise sorting by recency. You’ll see how good this app is.
